Heading out to Las Vegas Jan 1-4, I've been to Caesars car show when it first opened up, really nice but a few years ago. I've heard since that they have one of the best F-1 racing simulators there? Any truth to it? Anyone?, Anyone? I'm going for a small vacation, and hope to get some 4 wheeling in, and to work my "System" on the roullette wheel. I'll report back with the results Good, Bad, or Ugly.

That's too bad! It can get to you if you let it. Much like booze & some dope. I'm not much of a gambler but I do like the city. Lots of things to do, and some good restaurants. Good 4 wheeling in the desert.

you can head up the LVIS and check out the Shelby American factory/museum. That's a good trip...

The Wynn has a Ferrari dealership... if you own one and bring the reg it's free to get in, for the rest of us stiffs, it's 10.00... but worth it.

Yeah, the bad thing is he thinks he is good at it. Right before he went to jail he won $5,000. He also told his kids he dont want anything to do with them and that he hates their mother. What a turd to say stuff like that.

How do I get to the Shelby mueseum?

I'd been to the Wynn but didn't have a chance to see the Ferrari's, $10.00 sound good to me. I don't think they have anything in the Wynn for less than $50.00
Thanks

It's been about a year and a half since I've been to Caesars so I don't remember. I do know that the exotic car mueseum was free at that time and now it's $25.00. I've heard that they had an F-1 car with the simulator connected to the shifter, throttle steering wheel, etc. I'll be there for awhile, the whole city is a big kids play ground. That is if you don't get hooked on the gambling, booze, or strip clubs. Moderation, my friends everything in moderation and you should be ok. I'll try and post some pictures when I get back, If I figure out how to do it.

I was out at Fontana Speedway a few weeks ago. I didn't get on the track, I was just out checking the "SpeedVentures" track days. They had stock cars running the track, sounded good. Check out www.radicalwest inc.com that looks like a blast.

Just take I 15 north to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), turn right at the exit, then take your second right turn and you're there. You can't miss it. You can see Shelby's building from the Interstate as you approach. On your left you'll see a huge lot full of Mustang GTs waiting to be turned into Shelby GTs. You'll also see a few GT 500s out there waiting for the Shelby upgrades. You have to call Shelby's office and make an appointment for the tour. You can get track time from Richard Petty's or Andrettis for track time on the LVMS in either a Stock Car or and Indy car. You can get time on the road course out there with BMW or Freddy Spencers motorcycle operation. For off road there is a dune buggy rental outfit at the LVMS too. If you want to drive Corvettes on a road course just West of Las Vegas in Pahrump NV, Spring Mountain Motorsports has Z06s and C6s you can take on their road course. Lots to do in the LV area with motorsports.

Ok, so I got back home Sat . night. Had a great time gambling , drinking, and getting back to my room round 3:30 every morning. I'm a light weight by Las Vegas standards. The simulator was the best I've been on, It gives you the feeling of excelleration and lateral G's. The visual was a little less than most PC's. It cost $20.00 for 5 min, or you can buy it for $15,000 and have it sent home. I do have to mention the selection of beautiful Hookers on the street. Classy good looking, expensive, and fun bunch of girls if you can afford them. You can't beat the cocktail waitresses, holy smokes!!!!! the girls at the RIO were wearing, what appeared to be a thong with a black see thru........oh never mind wouldn't want to do that to you guys.

Ahhhh, yes I do have to appologise for that. I did have a camera with me but would have looked like a middle-aged pervert taking pictures of the girls. It's difficult to take pictures in a Casino, lots of people don't want their picture taken and some Casinos will ask you to refrain. You'll just have to go and check it out for yourself.

Scwhartzeneggar? Sorry but I had too.
Venetian, Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Caesars, if you don't stay at one of them you should at the very least visit. Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, Circu du Solei LOVE, catch one or two of these shows. See the Dam, Lots of gentlemen's clubs Cheetas, Olympic Gardens etc. Average minimum bets on the strip are $15.00 Craps, Roullette, Blackjack. Go "Down Town" and see the Fremont Street Expierence. Just don't go any further (bad neigborhood)Go see Canyon of Fire & RedRock Canyon.
Oh and the Hookers come out about 2:30 A.M. in a lounge near you, you don't have to indulge, but they sure are fun to hang out with.

Bring Money.........Bring Lots of Money.

Hi Ramrod, thanks for the tips. The last time I was in Vegas was 9 years ago and I think quite a few things have changed.
I'm coming over on the 20.Sept. with my brother and two friends of mine, a mens tour as you can see. We are going to stay in LA the first 3 days and then head east, altogether we'll be 20 days in the states.
I need more info on what I can do at day time besides visiting the Hoover Dam or Lake Powell. Maybe as some stated visit the LV Motor Speedway or Shelby museum.

I was supposed to be in Vegas right now, but my buddy's dad (with whom I was going to be there) had to go in for surgery so the trip was postponed.

I think my trips to Vegas are a little different than most of you guys, though...
