Good Morning CGs!

Well, the alarm started going off this morning and I honestly thought it was a mistake. I didn't have a problem getting up, just couldn't understand why. Oh yeah, work. Sucks to be me.

Got a little bit of the floor put in last night. Unfortunately I had to wait for the gun which my cousin lent to a friend who didn't return it in a timely manner. They tried to get a hold of him all day and it took til about 3pm, then my brother picked it up and didn't get to my house until about 6:30. So we did what we could. Looks good so far.

What's everyone got planned for the weekend?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

My wife has a garden club show in Marathon today. She's stayed there last night and didn't have an alarm clock so she asked me to make sure she was awake at 6:30 AM. I guess she doesn't know how to use the cell phone function. Neither do I for that matter. Had a nightmare last night. Dreamed I had a year and a half to go till I retired. I got to do retirement planning all over again in my sleep. Sheez!

Daughter #2 and wife are going apt. hunting. I have to co-sign. Her '02 Impala heater function has been sporadic. When I looked in the coolant recovery tank, it looked like gloppy gel inside. Maybe her BF put the wrong coolant in. Well, I'll flush it and see what happens.

I have a leaky shower to fix, so I may start working on that. Or not. We'll see how much ambition I have.

Have a great weekend, Gurus!

Well, off and on yesterday I got the backs of the doors finished and the first coat on the fronts. This morning I've been out and sanded the fronts and got the second coat put on. This afternoon I'm going to try and deliver the cabinets and hopefully get them installed. The computer I was working on yesterday in between coats of finish, I finished up about 11pm last night. They picked it up and paid me this morning as well.

Brad, I hate plumbing, so good luck there. Tommy, that would be a nightmare. Flyboy, that doesn't sound too good, I hope you have success flushing out that system. VB, we have 4-6" on the ground here, but the sun is shining today.

Well, I got to go get stuff ready for hauling those cabinets out. See you later.

Not me. I could change the bed sheets, fold laundry, vacuum, then that would only take, what, couple hours at the most? Then back to being bored again. Just got my vette back from having some things done to it including 'blacking out' all the light lenses, would have preferred to be out driving it....
