So who's watching this year?

Got to love Olympics sports that involve guns

We also found out that Canada couldn't "get it up"

well at least not all 4

I'm not impressed with the "sportsmanship" so far. Seems like a giant ego contest. All that does is build contempt from the smaller countries.

I like how the South Korean speed skaters handed us two medals. That was VERY sportsmanlike.

The French stink at muff diving.

But it's an exhibition sport.

Why the winter olympics are like car racing

http://jalopnik.com/5472884/why-the-w ... r-racing?skyline=true&s=i

Quote:
High speeds, daring passes, and spectacular crashes — it's not NASCAR, it's the Winter Olympics. How is Apolo Ohno like Kyle Busch? Which death-defying speed contests are best viewed while drunk? Jalopnik's Olympics guide is here to help.

The Winter Olympics have a lot to offer the speed junkie. Crazy new sports like the appropriately named Skeleton (essentially a face-first, 80-mph, five-G toboggan ride) are paired with classics like downhill skiing, which means that there are now more ways than ever to watch people kill themselves on snow and ice.

Sound familiar? Auto racing is a lot like the winter games. Click on the graphic below to learn just how much crazy athletes and highly paid racing drivers have in common.

Here is a fun fact I learned. There is a woman on the Danish curling team that was in a calander. You will have to search it for yourselves.

Oh, I get it now, it's curling, not hurling.
