So most of you probably don't care that Corey Haim has died, but it's like little pieces of my childhood dying away.

First it was the amazing John Hughes last year, and then Andrew Koenig a few weeks ago, and now Corey Haim. All of these people have died way too young.

I always thought Corey Feldman would die first, I didn't realize how bad Corey Haim's drug problems were.

It makes me want to go rent License to Drive and Lost Boys now - that was a funny movie. Gonna go check Netflix...

Lost Boys was one of my favorite movies in College. I think I still have the soundtrack which was a noted favorite.

I've been there as well. Since Christmas of '07, I've lost a number of friends and aquaintances. For the first year or so I kept track of each of them as they were going at a pace of about 1 every 6 weeks. I finally had to ignore the tally and start to get on with the living. This kind of loss is, sadly, a natural part of life. Those we know and know as celebrities are just as tied to reality as anyone else. Hope you feel better. Hey! We still have Danny Bonaduce to make fun of!

I hope you're into boxing.... I forwarded your post to Danny's website so you may end up with a "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back scenario
Actually out of the Hollywood Crowd Danny is one of the cats that gets a little of my respect..he may make bad decisions but he's man enough to step up and prove he has a pair...

The thing is, there are certain people who guide their own destiny with the bad choices they make. Celebrities just get more publicized than regular folks. But I don't feel bad about not having sympathy for a deceased celebrity who was a drug addict. Those people should be role models to the younger generation and instead they throw their lives away.

Sad to see someone who had it all as a kid sub-come to drugs. Lost Boys was a great movie when I was kid.
