Well it took a week to pack and get on the road. We left Portland late Sunday afternoon around 6:30pm. We stayed in Pendleton Oregon that night. Had a late start on Monday and made it to Brigham City Utah. We had to leave the cat in the truck overnight due to the hotel not allowing pets. Next morning when we got up to get on the road early we discovered that she was not in the truck. I left the vent window open and she squeezed out during the night. Took us about a half hour to find her. Thank goodness she didn't go far and stayed with the truck. We found her hiding on top of the rear wheels. That leaves us to tonight(Tuesday), we made it to Goodland Kansas. Managed to miss rush hour in Denver and Cheyenne. With some luck we'll be in Indiana on Thursday.

Talk to ya'll later.

You're going to have a much better day today going across Kansas than it would have been Tuesday...it was probably pretty hot when you pulled into Goodland. Keep safe.

Well tonight we're in Columbia Mo. at the super 8 at mile marker 131. Hello to all my fello gurus here. We should be on the road again about 7am tomorrow. Should put us home in Ft Wayne about dinner time tomorrow. We are so looking forward to being done driving. Then the unloading part begins at the storage unit. Next would be giving the car a good bath this weekend.

Well we made it home. Pulled into Ft Wayne at around 6pm. Got the car unloaded. Went to dinner with my parents who are up to help unload. Not much went right tonight. Closed the hood on the car and cracked the windshield, and the driver side window went down and now won't go back up. Went to pick up the truck and it wouldn't start. I think it needs a starter or solenoid. So looks like I have some projects to work on.

Sometimes I swear it's a test to see if you'll break. Just fix em one thing at a time. It'll get better. I promise. If it doesn't, you can always blame Obama.

Why not blame him. He seems to think it is ok to blame Bush on everything. I'll get it. Just a little fustrating that is all.

The bad part is I need to get the window up by tomorrow afternoon because it is suppose to rain.

You know what that means? Time for a new C6

Cheer up, Mike. You and your wife get to be together now. That's the most important thing

Hey, Mike! I remember when Bastet and I did this move 6 years ago! Wow!

Glad you found the kitty!!! That really woulda sucked if she had wondered off.

And most importantly, you made it home safely. That is what really matters.
