Good Morning CGs!

Well the weather here is goofy this week. We already had a big thunderstorm roll through a little more than an hour ago. Now it looks like the sun is peeking through and teasing us. Rained yesterday as well. I'm going to work so it's not like it's ruining my weekend, though.

Tinkered with the car a bit last night. The exhaust y-pipe is just a little too much for me to do in the garage. Sure, if I had a hydraulic tube bender...lol. So I'll take it to the exhaust shop down the street next weekend. I did get the starter put in and a couple little loose ends tied up. I want this done! Lol.

What does everyone have planned for Saturday?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I'm up, it's 5:40a.m., C4's warming up.
Headed to the racetrack. I have 60 cars to tech and only one inspector working for me.
Then I get to sit in the right seat and hope none of the newbees slide off the track.

I was planning on having a light day. Key word ..... planning. My wifes employee needed to take off at noon today so I have to sub for him for 4 hours. 12 to 4 PM, right smack in the middle of the day. One of the guys quit last week so that put's us down to just 3 full timers. One of them being my wife. I could say no but that wouldn't be prudent. Heat index yesterday was 108'. Expecting more of the same today ..........When it's hot I wish for the cold and when it's cold I say I'd rather take the heat. Never quite enough time in the middle for me.

I have 2 projects for today.
I guess 3 actually.

Install the new faucet and plumb the drains for the new double sink that was installed with the new countertops .

Install the 1/2 shaft safety hoops on the vette.

Get the shortblock dressed to drop into the framerails.

What I don't get done today will get done tomorrow. No real rush to get anything done on the car.

Happy saturday.

Howdy! I'm gonna putz around with the Vette today, and try to track down what feels like a miss. I had bought an adjustable FPR, but that isn't here yet (my fuel pressure is running a little high) - wish that had come so I could install it as well.

Enjoy your weekend, everybody!

Flooding, tornado watches, lightening strikes.

Sounds just like any other day in Florida.

Hey guys, I was off and running early this morning with the garage sale. Actually got rid of most of the stuff. After cleaning up what was left, I decided to clean up the wife's car from her trip this past week to Wichita. She had bugs all over the front of the car. So I washed and then put a coat of Machine Super Wax on for her. While the wax was drying on her car, I dropped the Corvette down and gave it a coat of hand rubbed past wax too. So my arms are tired tonight. The weather was pretty nice throughout the morning, but the wind came up and it has been windy all the rest of the day.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday, I have a church mens group activity tomorrow, so I have to get up and ride 3 hours, do the activity, then ride three hours back home.

Hey tee. One of these Sundays you'll have to take a day of rest.
