Morning! I've been up since about 3:30 AM. We went to Sonny's BBQ last night for dinner and I ate the all you can eat ribs. Unfortunately I think they stuck to mine. My stomach feels like I ate a plate of gravel with a side of sand. I'm having a couple of cups of coffee hoping that it will help clear the obstuction. Fortunately for me I can make up for lost sleep later in the day. It's not like there are a lot of things you can do at 5:00 AM, not that I feel like doing much anyway. Surfing and reading is quiet and easy. Looks like I'm getting an early start on the day.
Have a great day everyone. May all your surprises be good ones.

Greetings! Try some probiotics if you have any, or some yogurt if you don't. I didn't sleep worth a damn either, but I think it was just too much caffeine late in the day. I'll be looking for my nap chair as soon as I get home.

Good Morning CGs!

Well, Tommy, sorry to hear you couldn't sleep. I had a nice glass of whiskey before bed so I didn't have any problems

Should be another hot day here again. Not too bad, though, it doesn't really bother me too much. But I know it's uncomfortable for the wife. We went to a picnic after work yesterday and the sun was unbearable but in the shade was quite nice. Of course for my upcoming days off it's going to rain every day. Go figure.

Not too much on the news front with me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

There's a chitload of things you can do at 5 a.m. and if you do any chores between 5 & 6, you really don't know that you're doing them cause you're still sleep walkin'.

Today's goals:

Feed myself.
Wash myself (cause of Matthew).
Drive the C4 to look at hotrods (Hot August Nights).
Feed myself (Note to self: stay away from the ribs).

Good Morning Gurus!

Well it's official. I'm 50 and the transition wasn't so bad at all. The wife threw me a 50th party and we all had a great time. The nighbors thought it was Corvette Convention up and down the streets. I got a ton of booze for my birthday and will soon begine drinking it all!

I got a unique set of bottled wine from the Niagra Corvette Club's 7th Annual Cruise In -- The wine was bottled in 2005 but has a image of the potential C7 Corvette on the label. It's pretty cool!

Anyhow, its back to work this morning 50YO or not!!

Morning Guys. I'm up and at it this morning. My daughter and her family are gone for the day. We are headed over to watch the other grandkids today.

Brad, I bought a Taylormade R9 driver yesterday. I can't wait to get home and try it. I used a buddies last week and love the way it hit. They had them on sale here in KC, so I bought one.

We will head home tomorrow. Apparently we had quite a rain back home, someone posted pictures on Facebook, the water filling up the streets, I hope we didn't get water in the basement.

Were the CCA nomination committee members there? I understand they're waiting for just the right moment. They have a question for you. The resulting depression of turning 50 doesn't last for long. Now you know for sure the only way your gonna hit a 20 something is to pay for it.
Reread the second paragraph in the quote. I fixed it for ya.

Good Morning Guru's Left knee is the size of a small melon now! Found some Vicadon from past injuries. Once the bed quit spinning slept well! Watching Kelly and Regis with my wife! never watched it before! Kelly is hot! Maybe candidate for HCF. My collie can't believe I'm not outside doing something! She keeps bringing her leash, frisbee, my Corvette hat and bone to me! Made a fanastic discovery last night, when I pass gas her tail wags! Is that bonding or what!

Tommy, you need Comfort Gel maximum strength from Walgreens. We did Famous Dave's a few weeks back and the same thing happened to me. So I got out the CG and everything worked out alright. Gotta work outside today and it is going to be hot so I better get at it. Have a good day!

Yikes, good luck with the basement!!

I'm still using ancient technology - I have a Callaway Great Big Bertha 8.5 degree driver that I bought used years ago. It was huge when it was new - now it looks like a midget compared to most modern drivers. A friend of mine has some big square driver, looks like a toaster on a stick - LOL! Anyway, hope you like the R9, looks like a nice club.

I'd be more concerned about playin' "What's that smell?" with the collie.

Another sign of getting old! I'm watching the Today Show now, opps QVC, no wait Today show again they're talking about A listers and Vera Wong or something like that! I like Vicadon! Some guy is talking about the Clinton Wedding and how emotional he got and he's a writer for womens wear daily. How does a guy know that stuff! Apparently there is another world on tv besides Speed channel and Espn!

You know, I let a lot of stuff slide around here but sniffing dog farts is a little over the top. I'm gonna have to look into The Mods Rulebook and see if this is acceptable forum banter. Might even have to

Good afternoon Gurus! Knee felt good enough to meet with the upholestry guy about my buckets seat on the 55. Black roll and pleated(old school) with new foam and lower back padding both buckets and rear seat/back. Gave me some ideas on center void between buckets. I'll get a price tomorrow! While I was there I fired up the 572, damn no wonder the neighbors complain! Last time I drove it was in late April. Need to fix brake line leak, unfortunately the lines are in the frame which I boxed in for added strenght.
I feel good enough to go the my daughters house and check out her fire pit she built. She found a 2007 Z06 for sale. Wonder where she gets it from!
