Good Morning CGs!

Well the weather.com website sucks. Last night checked it and it said cloudy with 10% chance of rain today. So it already started raining at like 4 am and now the website says rain all day. Top is already off the vette so I'll be taking the truck to work.

How is everyone's weekend so far? BBQs? Parties?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Weather forcasts are a joke. A cruel hoax. Living in Florida you can have sun and rain at the same time. One side of the steet it's raining the other is dry. It's the damndest thing. I wonder what the weather is like in Reno today?

Yea, it does. Try here: http://www.noaa.gov/

Sometimes I check both and NOAA is usually more accurate.

Humm, I've been in front of my house in a tee shirt, bright sunshine while it was snowing in the back of the house.
But the humidity was still low.

We rely on what we call the "Weather Weenie" - right now it is at about half-mast:

http://tinyurl.com/37n6zmv

We're going to the Twins game this afternoon - hope the rain holds off. Love the new ballpark, so it should be a good time. I wish we'd been able to get tickets for the game yesterday, as they had a 3-inning game with the old-timers (those voted to the 50 Best Twins squad, as this is their 50th season), but they were sold out. Nice to see 'em on TV, anyway.

Have a good one!

Our "Weather Wennies" are intense! if there is any sign of rain they break in and go nuts. Winter time with lake effect snows is ridiculous. They run to the 80-90 Toll Road and report live on a flake of snow. Each station has their own radar and Hummers.
Absolutely doing nothing today! Got a letter Saturday that our Maytag dishwasher has recall notice that our model has problems causing home fires during the dry cycle, well thats one way to dry the dishes. $250.00 rebate on a new Dishwasher.
My wife is watching Regis and Kelley Live! what a waste of a good tv! I could do that! Guru TV your hosts Tommy and Vetteblondie.

Har, I just looked and that is what the Mrs. has on TV, too. You have to give Regis props, though - he's made a nice career for himself, since being Joey Bishop's sidekick. Guru TV has possibilities ;-)

Regis is a Notre Dame Grad! He has given millions to the university. I'm surprised he comes to most ND home games. Seems like a nice guy.

Hey guys, just got on to the internet....have to steal a wireless connection as the in-laws don't even own a computer. Wife and in-laws are getting ready to feed the crew. Only thing I have to do today is drive home. Cold front moving through a little later. Wind is really blowing, from the south, and will turn to the north when the front moves through.

Ron, that's the way that they sell new dishwashers, pisses me off. Let it burn the hose down and then sue them. I have my issues with Regis and Kelly....what a waste of time. Me I'm watching "Dirty Jobs".

Have a great day.

Better than what I'm doing, cleaning out the garage.

I wish someone would send me a $250 dishwasher credit.

I changed the name of my current dishwasher to my dishrinser.

The great dishwasher hunt! The models Maytag will give you a rebate on are backordered for 90 days. The notice from Maytag tells you to unhook dishwasher immediately to prevent possibility of fire. Soooo for 90 days no dishwasher WTF are we suppose to wash dishes by hand!! Thinking old dishwasher would make a good hot water parts washer!
Erin and her boyfriend are in Plymouth Indiana at a Blue Berry Festival, Blue berry everything! Last year they had a BlueBerry eating contest the winner ate 3 1/2 quarts. Bet he had the hershey squirts later on! second runner up threw up! it was great!!
Well gotta to google other dealers of maytag stuff and see what they have.

I have issues with TV in general, even PowerBlock and Speed's take on PB gets old. Seems like Speed and Versus has the car theme monopolized. I never see any Vettes or resto vettes. Spike now has hand gun shows Sat. morning before powerblock. Sensationalize home invasion or being attacked in a dark alley, great now everybody that has never fired a gun before in their life are buying a Glock or Sig.

We use an energy saving dishwasher. It runs with warm water, manual soap dispenser, gentle scrubbing sponge and whomever made the dinner doesn't have to wash the dishes. Drip dry also a great energy saver. Average cycle less than 10 minutes.

My wife did good, the seats she got us for the ballgame were spectacular! Right behind home plate, row 19, and just enough of an overhang to keep us dry when it sprinkled a couple times. Jim Thome hit a monster 480-foot home run, not bad for a 40-y/o youngster.
