Good Morning CGs!

I don't know anymore. That's all I can say. I just don't know. Ever have those days where nothing seems to matter? This isn't a depressing I'm gonna go drink antifreeze statement, just an observational assessment. Yesterday and today are days where I could just lay in bed watch cartoons (yes, I'm 30) and eat ice cream as opposed to go to work and be a productive member of society. Well, I'm never really too productive, but hey it's the thought that counts. Tomorrow is a big day, anniversary, and rugrat #2 will literally be making an appearance any day now. That must be why I'm feeling this way. Trying to ignore the little stuff and focus on the big stuff? I dunno. I'll try to see things in a positive light today.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Here's another one.

Having emotions is human. It's the lack of emotion that should really be a concern. When life has taken a few swings at you, thrown you on the ground and laughed at you a few times you start to take it less seriously. Never get too deep into your own head. You'll only start more trouble. It's probably as you say. Anniversary, baby on the way, baby in the house. Life is changing on you Matt whether you like it or not. Who knows? One day down the road, you might just find your down the road.

Dreary, drizzly and chilly here - good day for staying in and watching cartoons ;-)

Yeah, sometimes you have to just try to focus on what's good and let the other junk fade into the background.

Why is psychoanalysis a lot quicker for a man then for a women?
Because when it's time to go back to childhood, a man is already there.

We had a heavy rain here early this morning. I'm gonna wipe down the cars with microfiber towels, sort of a cheater wash, cut the grass and try to go for that ride I've been trying to sneak in. I have a couple of million things out of place around here so I'm gonna try to start orginizing some of it. Should be able to knock that out sometime before the end of the decade. Pip, pip, cheerio.

Yea, I put up one shelf yesterday, stared at the pile of crap on the workbench. Does it matter if this gets done today?
No, it would be more fun to take the C4 up to Lake Tahoe.

Matt like Tommy stated don't get to deep in your head! you will begin to dwell on the negative aspects of life and anything positive that comes along you will miss. Life can be a pain in the ass at times but thats ok because we learn from those experiences and about ourselves, I have lived through a lot of negative crap in my younger years! I find something positive everyday that I can wrap my brain around and transfer that to my students and the people around me. Stress is a constant factor in todays life, its how we deal with thats the key. I laugh my ass off watching my collie take a healthy dump in my neighbors yard especially when she eats corn. Sick! right! yea but I'm smiling.

Another beautiful day in South Bend, sunny cool. Students are really doing well this morning! I'm a real asshole the first month of school and than I smile and start picking on the gang bangers.
No blood shed yet in the shop, usually by now I have a few abrasions and minor splinters.
Have a great day guys!

Morning Gurus....Matt, shit happens and much of it we can't control. Life is a bus ride and are on it for the ride, sometimes where we don't necessarily want to go. Roll with it and take the best parts, learn from the not so good. You have a lot going on right now and it may seem to be too much, but you can handle it. Look at the good things and dwell on them.

Picture day here at school, so every time I get into something they are calling for these people or that person. It really makes things difficult to teach a lesson. Oh, well it's only one day a year....no, wait, we'll do it again in about a month for those that missed today.

I'm looking at trading pickups, mine still is fine, but with the grandsons getting older, (read that: bigger) the extended cab is getting a bit crowded. Anyway we drove an 07 Silverado yesterday and testing an 06 GMC Denali today. Not looking forward to thinking about spending that much money....maybe I'll just let the boys ride in the back and keep my old pickup.

I've had an 08 Escalade calling out to me every time I pass it. LOL

Sweet looking Escalade, Tommy! The Denali isn't quite at that level. I still need a "real" pickup, although when you start talking crew cab the bed gets shorter.....

Matt, I remember days when the babies were arriving and money was tight and job stuff was not good. It was tough but my family was depending on me and that is what got me out of bed each morning. Then I would watch cartoons while eating breakfast. Was anything better than Rocky and Bullwinkle? When it seems overwhelming remember you got to eat the elephant one bite at a time. Do what you can do don't look to far ahead or back, concentrate on a day by day basis. Things will work out! We are all in the same boat. Except Tommy, he has his own boat!

Staying in today to work on office stuff. Rained last night. I am cleaning up the Vette for a local car show this weekend. Everyone have a safe day!

Well, I'm still in my pickup....the Denali just didn't trip my trigger and the Place with the Chevy, didn't want to sell it (wanted way too much difference). I left an offer and told them to call me if they decided to take it.
