I read that... and ppl who get rich quick end up going broke quick.

The odds are not good... mostly due to the dams bursting forth with cash and the desire to spend like a drunken sailor.

Most ppl are not conditioned to deal with that kind of cash hit, either. Look at Michael Jackson, he is richer today since he died last year, because he isn't buying $5000 marble hippos or what not. The man was never given anything that resembled logical boundries, so he spent like there was no tomorrow, and almost hit tomorrow.

As it stands, the only restraint most ppl have is their limited budget. Remove that restraint and guess what... PARTY TIME!!!!

How many here would go out and buy a new ZR1 if they hit it rich? A house bigger than their town? Fancy jewelry and such... yea... you all would and if you said you wouldn't you lie like a cheap ass rug.

Good advice:

"Advice to others? First, change your phone number! Then take 80 percent and invest it in solid growth-oriented funds with regular returns and minimal risk, and don't touch it for any reason. Live within the means of whatever your investments yield. Take 5 percent and go crazy with it — get it out of your system. With the other 15 percent, you can take the risk plunge into investments that may get you a nice windfall."

And Andy, you're wrong. I'd buy two ZR1s.

OK....I lie, I'd spend some money, pay off the house, maybe buy the wife a new car and probably the middle daughter a new van. Right after, I'd change my name and try to become anonymous.

Why does it have to be like a DRUNKEN SAILOR LOL
My Uncle manages money for wealthy people, and he says most are depressed ans obsessed with more money or they blow thinking it is never going to end. Very few he deals with last long with their wealth they acquired quickly.

I would still finish school.
Albeit I would be living in a nice house ALOT closer to my school. But I would have a full fridge of food always for once

I can help you with your problem! You must spend a lot of money to help the economy recover. This whole system only works if we spend much more then we make. It's basic economics.
