Good Morning CGs!

So the weather here is goofy, like usual. Last week was cold...I was wearing a sweatshirt. Today is supposed to be 88*. The record high is 92* but I don't think we'll match that. Hey, the weather man is never right, though, so it could be 110* with golf ball size hail for all I know.

Drove the vette yesterday and it didn't sound right. After I parked it for a bit I played with the exhaust and found it was loose in the front y-pipe/cat clamp. So I need to fix that. I had to drive it home and it was too hot to fix. I'll get to it later. I have to change the trans fluid still And it's time for an oil change. So we'll see how much free time I have for that stuff in the next week.

Grass still hasn't been cut. I went for a run last night and then the wife and I went out for a couple hours together because MIL has the baby. It was nice.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Howdy! Another gloomy start - yesterday it was dark and drizzly all day until I went home, then the clouds disappeared and it was beautiful. Who knows, maybe the same today. Anyway, the Vette will be filthy from slogging through the rain for a couple of days. Twins' magic number is down to 2, they could clinch tonight!

Have an outstanding day, everyone!

Good Mornin' All

The weather here has been really outstanding since we got back from vacation and I understand it was just as nice last week too. I decided to extend the tropical feeling around my house last night and lit some tiki torches and the fire pit and cooked my wife and I some nice NY Strips and sat outside until late watching the fire and drinking a few cold beers! Almost as nice as being back on vacation!

Suppose to be hot high near 87 and lots of humidity. Students are unusually quiet today! Hope it stays this way. A 15 year old girl skipped school yesterday and was shot in the stomach! no free lunch for her for awhile! We start on the kitchen and bathroom cabinets for Vocational building trades house tomorrow.
Other than that everything is normal today!

Have you changed oil in your Husky yet? I may get one for Christmas.

There's a light at the end of my garage cleaning tunnel, I may even finish it up in a couple ,3 days. Of course, there's some pre-winter house maintainence that needs done too.

The weather here is the usual - JFB.

Back to the weather. Cooler evenings, nights and mornings. The dog days of summer are behind us now. Still peaking 90 mid day but some relief is better than none. My favorite time of year approaches.

Well I did dress approprately but I didn't see anybody.

No recluses or tarantulas that I've seen around here.

Used to get widows (a lot) and a scorpian (twice in 24 years). I've been using the spray stuff from HD. It really does last 3-4 months and there's hardly anything in the garage at all, nothing in the house.

But I did find the roof leak.

In Northern Indiana we don't have such critters. Ocassional Black Widow and a few snakes. Snakes are Blue Races, Garden, and a few Rattlers.
But we have two leggeded critters that are predators with no remorse they live at night and pray on everybody.

Good evening guys! I haven't had a chance to post. Busy working 12-14 hour days. Not burned out yet! Eating pizza with my parents. Been driving my Fusion lately ZO6 is in the garage. Had an incident Sunday night when I was being followed and harassed by some misguided youth. I couldn't remember my high school spanish at the moment but it sounded kinda bad. Lost them and put the car in the garage. I don't need a confrontation when I'm this tired. OK guys take good care of yourselves. Please note dad is still trying to post pics. This old gateway is a mess. Mom won't let him touch her Acer! No comment guys Erin

Got the grass cut, yard cleaned up, and trash out 10 minutes before the downpour tonight. I'm relieved at least something got done around the house.

Erin - you need to borrow some of dad's "toys" when you go for a drive. Just don't bring them to gun-friendly Illinois!
