Haven't even pulled the old motor and already a change in the build!!
Got a deal on an LQ9 that can't be passed. So iron block FTW! I'm happier this way anyway in case something decides to put a window in my block |

LQ9 will need forged pistons, better rods, and ARP rod bolts and your good to 800 rwhp

Can't even get one passed my Guru's haha.
 I'm having a mental debate about the transmission. I'm really leaning tword a TH400, as it's the only one I can think of that's a 3 speed and can handle the power. Car will see some light street cruises so I don't want to run a glide, a 4 speed auto would be awesome but I have no idea on one that would take the punishment. Pete?? lol |
