Logging in remote from the doghouse? Hope you had a great trip!

Absolutely gorgeous weekend here in MN, aside from the Twins' debacle. Looks like more of the same, for today anyway. The day is off to a shaky start so far. When I was jockeying cars around the driveway to get the Vette out of the garage, I got one wheel of the Jeep on the wet grass, and did a little sod burnout when I moved it, so I'm sure the Mrs. will be delighted when she sees that. And then I spilled some crap on my shirt as soon as I got to the office. Think I'll just sit here quietly and hope the day passes quickly.

Have a good one, all!

There's something about going to foreign places that always leaves me grateful when I return. Sometimes it's the simple pleasures like using my own bathroom. , sitting dressed only in my underwear while in the back yard or the return of peace and quiet. I appreciate the little I have more because of the poverty I see in distant places. In Mexico, Honduras and Belize life for most is a daily struggle. Medical care is nothing like we have here in the states. Yes they have care. Sometimes it involves local roots, berries and leaves. Water though widely available is not consumable. Plastic bottles and trash abound. Clapboard structures or homes are made from any material that can be found. In Belize they call those that live in what we call middle income homes 'The elite". I saw one Corvette in my travels. A bright red late model C4 in Cozumel. We have ghettos in this country. Ghettos that many of these other nationals would love to call home. Here we have opportunity. Believe me when I say many other nations are not so fortunate. In the U.S. most can find some kind of work. They may not like the work, they may have to move to get it but at least they can find work. Well, thats enough of that for now. I have work to do.

G'morn

I'm off today... you know how it is in the Nation's Capitol, we are all lazy govt. workers. Yeah Right! Maybe some.

I'm going to take some Dramamine (seasickness) and go out to the garage. I'll see how I do on my back this morning.

Looks like its going to be a beautiful day weather-wise today.

I hope for you to!

Tommy, I'm sure your neighbors love it when you return, as well!!!

Not sure what the plans are today. I was gonna take rugrat #1 to the zoo, but she was running a fever last night so I don't think that's gonna happen. I have to still wrap up the pool solar cover that's been laying in the backyard for the last week. Also an oil change on the truck and rotating the tires on the wife's grocery getter. I also have a few errands to run.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Do all cruses have sightseeing trips to the ghettos?

Guess I'll never find out.

I might cruse in the C4 today though, I have about as much ambition today as a high school student.

Here's the line that opened the door to the dog house.

"I wouldn't be in this position had I not made some bad decisions."

This line when made to a woman is like catnip to a cat. She just can't leave it alone. She just keeps coming back for more. Oh well. I just keep telling her to think whatever she wants to think about that statement. I ain't saying nuthin more about it. Meanwhile I remain under attack. Guess I'll have to wait till she finds something else to chew on.

Well... the Dramamine seems to have done the trick so far. I just got the pan off and waiting for the fluid to stop draining.

Oh! Tip for draining ATF.
When trying to exit the garage into the house, make sure you don't have any ATF left on your hands. LOL
I couldn't turn the door knob and had to wipe it off with degreaser to get back in the house. Brings back memories of college pranks.

Tommy nice to see your voice, hope you had a good time and I hear what you are saying. It's rainy here today and we woke up to no water. That makes things interesting. We are on our own well and the pressure switch was bad so after a call to the plumbers it's all fixed. Plumbers are our friends!

I guess I better go to work and make the living. Have a good day Guru's.

Morning guys....just a normal Monday morning here in high school land. I have a lot of "Bills" here today, not much motivation......I have a dental appointment this afternoon so I will get off work early (one class period). It's a pretty day here 57* right now headed for a high of 72, light breezes. I have a couple things I need to be working on, but they'll wait.

Tommy, sounds like you need to spend some more quality time with the better half....hehehe.

Well... was making progress! I got the tranny drained and the pan back in place, C-Beam is out (bastard) and now I'm ready to drop the drive shaft and begin transmission bolt removal. But..... the wife called my doctor about the dizzies!!!! He wants me to go to the emergency room ASAP. Good grief! How do you say no to that. Crap. I'll let you all know what they say.

5:30pm.... I'm back! Nothing found. CAT Scan, EKG, Blood Work, all looks great! Who knows, must have been an anomaly.
