Had our first real snow last weekend here in up-state NY and excepting more tomorrow. I've had the Corvette stored away in the garage the last couple months and I'm about to lose my mind. I started it the other day just to hear it. What a great sound!

Thanks guys. Glad I'm not the only one with the winter blues. Next year I hope to be working in south Florida with my company.

Take your 4 wheel drive over to the Poconos, Curtis.

Sometimes you just have to have a different perspective when you think about snow. Of course, big mukluks help.

Hell, you don't even have to ski just sit on the deck and google.

For comedy relief, hit a Pocono slope for their night sking, sit on the deck, watch the drunks wipe each other out trying to ski down hill (ask me how I know ).

In my case, since I no longer partake, I'd have to watch the drunks getting drunk watching the drunks on the ski slope.

It was a long time ago that I fell down the Poconos.

It sure was damn funny though, there were thousands of people on the slopes at 3 a.m. znd not one of them was sober or could ski more than 20 yards without falling down.

I try to look at it like this, the days start getting longer in 9 more days, but it's not helping.

That's damn good news. I get a lot of solar in my place, so much that the heater doesn't even come on.
But the mountain to the west makes the sun go down at 3:55 right now.

I put the car away in the corner with the battery tender yesterday, and I called to cancel the collision coverage. To me that's officially winter

Hey I like that! It's optimistic, you have to grab onto anything you can. Somewhere within driving distance folks are teeing up golf balls and driving with the top down. If I get pissed off enough I can always go there and join them.

Here's how I cope.
Small house, retired now, too much togetherness would be a recipe for disaster.
