Good morning Guru's. We missed the big snow which does not hurt my feelings. It is colder then a ........ I will let you fill in the blank. It's so cold yesterday I saw two polar bears hitch hiking south. Arr Arr Arr! Some Huskerland humor.

Church this morning and I am looking forward to watching the Packers and Bears slug it out from the comfort of my own home. There is two teams that go way back.

It's cold here to this morning. was below zero again last night. Suppose to warm up to the mid 20's this week. At least we aren't getting any snow today. Some in the forecast for later in the week.

Good Golf joke for today.


A foursome are waiting at the men's tee while a four women are hitting from
the ladies' tee. The ladies are taking their time.

When the final lady is ready to hit her ball, she hacks it 10 feet. Then she
goes over and takes an air shot. Then she hacks it another ten feet and
finally hacks it another five feet.

She looks up at the patiently waiting men and says apologetically, "I guess
all those f---ing lessons I took over the winter didn't help."

One of the men immediately responds, "Well, there you have it. You should
have taken golf lessons instead!"

He never even had a chance to duck. He was only 43.......

It's also cold here in the Philadelphia area, at least for us - it's in the high teens.

Drove the wife to her workout and the parents to church.

Watching an hour of Barrett-Jackson this afternoon and than hunkering down for the two NFL games. No favorites in them, just interested ...

Cold here as well. 32*F with a high in the low 40s, but that sure beats the temps for the two NFL games today.
I expect Pittsburgh to beat NY and the Packers/Bears will be very close, too close to call. I do wonder how many drunk guys will take theri shirts off and how many other fans will get frostbite.

We just got our new 46" HD TV hooked up yesterday, good timing.

Howdy! Another lazy morning spent getting caught up on my beauty sleep. Slaved over a hot oven for 4.5 minutes doing up a batch of mini-donuts. Gotta get ready to watch the big games - good timing indeed on your new set, Andy!

And another golf joke:

A guy gets through playing golf and goes into the pro-shop and is holding his throat, and can barely speak. The Pro sees him and asks 'What happened to you?'

He replies, 'Well on the 17 the one that runs along the pasture well I hit a brand new Pro-V out there and I was looking for it and this cow looks like it has a golf ball in its ass. I looked and it wasn't mine but there was a lady out there looking for her ball so I grabbed the cow's tail and pointed and said "Hey lady does this look like yours?" so she hit me in the throat with a 9-iron.'

Good afternoon guy.....I've been up for a while, I did sleep in a bit. Not as cold as it appears that most of the rest of you are. I got up and went out to the shop and routed the edges of the doors, cleaned up the shop a bit and then came into the house. I'm now working on a damn computer....anyone ever use CLONEzilla?

Not really into the football thing, so that doesn't interest me. Now the golf stories, those were funny. Thinking about shitcanning the computer work until later, going to the garage and playing with the Vette.

Been a busy day so far but now I can unwind a little. Bacon wrapped filet mignon and shrimp with cocktail sauce is the order of business (and pleasure). I haven't watched any TV yet but that's on the agenda too. I'm sure whatever I want to watch is not necessarily what my wife would like to watch. Ya, we have other TVs. But that would cut into our quality time. Catch ya'll later.
