Drove the Vette to work today! Ran pretty good. Need to get rid of the code 32 and exhaust leak fixed.

Back to the grind. spent the weekend either working in the yard or working on the Vette.

Have a great day guys!

Greetings! Heat wave here, should be around 40. Maybe some rain over the next couple of days, which might help get rid of some of this snow. As much as there is still in my yard, it's hard to imagine it being gone anytime soon. Meanwhile, I'm envious of a colleague who is winging his way to Cancun this morning.

Have a good day, yawlz!

G'Day mates! Woke up to a dusting of snow but the sun is trying to come out. The hired help is showing up today to begin the delivery work of what we sold this winter. Planting in 3 weeks which doesn't seem possible.

JeffK glad you are rolling, hope it runs good for you. At this point I am thinking if I can get mine done for Spearfish I will be lucky. 2 to 3 months to get a header, Come On, Man! What up with that?

Let's have a little swagger out there today, we are the Guru Nation. Have a good day!

Monday I guess. The granite guy's coming to template my countertops today. The stone's supposed to hit his shop on Wed.

I'm going to look for a battery for the C4 this morning, hitting the racetrack on Saturday.

Good Morning CGs!

Missed some sleep last night. Neighbor called with an emergency, wife woke up and couldn't breath. I rushed her over to ER and it ended up being some kind of throat infection that was swelling up. They were pretty shook up but the doctor took care of it so all is well.

I'm leaving in a minute for my own doctor's appointment for a little outpatient surgery. Nothing major, but I get a few days off work

Rich - this is off topic, but I saw you post and all of this talk about doctors made me think about your wife. How is Rose doing?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning All,

The sun is out and it looks like its going to be a great weather day. I'm working from home today and really need to put out some stuff, so I need to stay focused. There is so much crap going on these days its tough sometimes to keep from being distracted.

@Tommy - wish I could do some yard work today! Can be therapeutic
@Jeff - wish I could drive the Vette today too! Can be therapeutic
@Crash - Keep the snow to yourself
@Brad - Warmer weather is around the corner brother!
@Marcus - Cheers to Guru Nation
@Bill - Are you racing the C4?

Have a great day guys!!

Ha, no I never race the C4, I don't even redline it.
Saturday is a SCCA volunteer training/fire school day.
I'll be teaching the tech process and giving new instructors and corner workers track rides to show the correct lines, what to watch out for with new drivers etc.

Good one Brad. Day killer/

Morning is over. I'm Vetteless. One in for A/C, one for paint. I went to a body shop reccommended by my interior upholsterer and electronics shop operator. They're all buddies. He gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. Now I'm gonna look for new emblems. New paint has to have new emblems. Things are on a roll. I'll be peeling the C-notes off the roll when I have to pay for it.

I'll bet $120 with shipping.

I was going to get a set when I got my C4, they were $50.

OK, next item I need. A saddle e-brake cover on the drivers side or aftermarket item if there is such an animal. Any good leads?

The plastic/carpeted part that covers the whole mechanism, or a leather handle?

Hey guys...been a busy morning here. Matt, that sounds like something I'd do...no really. I had a call from an older couple yesterday to come over and do a few odd jobs. So when I got done, the lady asked how much she owed me...I said, "Nothing", "Oh, you can't come over here and do that work for nothing", I told them, "Watch me." and headed out the door. They were extremely grateful and she promised to make me a pie. And she makes great pie.

I am closing in on finishing an office unit I am building, just have the tops to build (Formica). I am also building a kitchen table for a former student's (adult night class) granddaughter. It's going to be a really nice 48" square (expands to 84") with two fixed pedestals. I'll take some pictures and post them in a day or two.

Weather here is looking up, upper 50's today and then 60's and 70's the rest of the week.

Got to go, student needs some help on a drawing.

Dammit. I went to the body shop 3 times to make sure we got the color we wanted. When it was repainted years ago the color was slightly changed from Dark Red Metalic to Brilliant Red Metalic. I went back and held the card against the paint. We're going with Brilliant Red Metallic.

I was never really an anal Corvette guy but somewhere along the way that all seems to have changed. I'm turning into one of those meticulous Corvette clients. The ones the shop owners lovingly call a real pain in th ass.

I don't care what you call me just dont call me late for dinner. Pass the hot dogs and jalapinos please.

As far as the peral. I'd be in a peril if the painter pearled it up too much. If you go with what you know, you know what you get. What if it turned out purple?
