Hands down, that's one of the most gripping stories I've thumb wheeled through in quite a while.

Wow, that's amazing. I always worry about hand damage, like lots of you I do extensive of work on my cars and other manual labor stuff. It's frightening to think about things like losing a finger should a bolt break or a timing belt slip while you're digits are in there. We all know how easy it can be to get careless when it's late or you're frustrated.

Same with eyes. I just ripped out my whole kitchen. Most of the time I wore safety glasses, but near the end I got sick of sweat dripping into them so I took them off. While prying on some flooring a piece ripped off and hit me HARD on the nose. That could have been ugly just a few millimeters over.

Man, how life could be changed. This is cool stuff.

Such a moving story. I am so happy for her getting this limb back. Sad that someone died to make this happen, but it does make that womans death a little more tolerable; that she gave like this.

@Jon - You are SOOO right. I have been fighting an annoying eye problem for a few weeks now. Everytime I think it's better, it gets aggrevated again.

I saw that on the news this morning. She typed 45 words a minute with one hand. That's bad ass. I like it when hard working people get help to improve.

I saw an episode on the Twilight Zone (original series) where the hand was posessed by it's previous owner and would not do the bidding of it's current owner.
