If it wasn't for mothers, where would we be? I'm lucky that my Mom is still around. I enjoy spending time with her. I was no mamas' boy when I was a teen. Guess I'm making up for it a little bit now.
Don't forget, your wife may be a mother too. I don't know how the wives fanagled a way to grab so much attention out of it, but women always seem to find a way to demand extra attention. To me, Mothers Day pays homage to "your" mother but it seems that every mother on the planet and throughout the galaxy is looking for recognition. So let me just be done with it. Happy Mothers day everyone.

Happy Mother's Day. Apparently although my wife is not my mother, I have to get her some flowers. Something about my 3 year old not having a job yet....slacker.

Weather is nice so I'm gonna pull the cover off the vette and drive her to work today. I'll get my fix. I really want to start working on the exhaust and trans shift points, but I just haven't gotten a chance yet. Maybe this week?

Went to start mine yesterday and the damn thing needed a jump! Its been too long. Hopefully, We'll get out to Mother's day Breakfast in New Hope,Pa. At a resturant aptly named "Mother's" (a town Maybe Andy or Matt may know...)a quaint little town on the Delaware River. On a day like today, the Bikes may beat us to it, but theres always Lambertville Right across the river in Nj. The "Covered Bridge" tour may be in order.....nice Sunday drive with some twists and turns for me and she'll catch up on the last of the spring Trees Blossoming. Sounds good even as I type. Good morning guys....Thanks for reminding me, I had forgotten about Mother's Day. My mom is long gone, been three years now, time flies.

I guess I'd better come up with something today for the wife, maybe a movie.

This day has been a conundrum for me over the years. My wife and I have no children, so there is no mother that lives here. Her mom passed away several years ago and they were not on the best of terms anyway. The only mother left to honor, is my own and the wife and her are mostly amicable but they have their differences. If I dote over my mom then my spouse can get her fur up in hackles and that causes grief for me. Argghhh! Today I had to make a choice. I'm planning on leaving Kathie here for the afternoon and going to hang out with my Mom, Sister and her kids and my Dad. We are planning on a nice afternoon dinner at a restarant near Annapolis. However, I still can't help but feeling guilty for leaving my wife behind here. I think she could make the 45 minute drive and dinner but I think she finds it easier to stay here. Oh well... We will see how it all goes.

No car time this weekend for me. Crap, another lost weekend and still about 8 hours from completion. I might have to take off work one day just to work on the car and not tell the wife or anyone I'm home...LOL

Greetings, and Happy Mother's Day to all the gurus' mothers and wives! We're gonna go to brunch later with the whole family, and then likely tackle some more yard work. We may get a rain delay on the yard work, which would be fine, since I'm still tired from yesterday. First thing my wife said to me today was, "Words cannot describe how bad you smell" - apparently the blackened tuna and garlic mashed potatoes I ordered for dinner last night, coupled with a martini with jalopeno-stuffed olives made for quite an aromatic bouquet.

My stock is pretty low right now. First I forgot our 28th annaversary, and now I don't think I did enough on my part for the whole mothers day thing. Geez, you would think that by now I would know how to avoid these messes. I still have the rest of the day to get the Mother's day thing fixed.........although I do have some things to do on the Vette......Nuts!

Nice here today, going to be 80. We had a good time at the nephews graduation. It was typical small town midwest ceremony with 34 kids in the class. The school gym was packed with farm families taking a few hours off from planting to honor their kids. You know you are in the Midwest when they open a school function with a prayer. Nice!

Gotta get ready for church. Then I think I will clean the whole house.....that ought to raise my stock some. Enjoy your day guru's.

Took the Vette out and went to the 'city', bought a bunch of flowers for the yard. Once the wind went down (almost dark), we went for a short bike ride. It's been a good Mother's Day.

Hey girl! Good to see you on here. Hope things are going well for ya!

I'm okay I guess. I'm sorry I've been absent. I've had a few issues of my own. I just read your story, very proud of your accomplishments. I'm on the weight loos track also. Still having depression issues but I'm in a weight/strength/cardio/boxing set up with a personal trainer who does a little UFC fighting. I've lost 10 pounds and 10 inches in a month and feel better. Not sure if I told y'all I got an old pickup truck, still have vette, had couple other fender benders, got ATV working again, new job, maybe another on the horizon, freelance biz is up some, nuther family death, few more boyfriends and breakups... you know... the general mess a single woman deals with...
I hope life has been good to everyone here.
