Whatever the cause, it's Gods way of saying you make too damned much money.

I wonder if the doors are welded shut? Or would that be glued on fibreglass?

I think it's actually a compliment to GM. With the Smoky and the Bandit car in the background they seem to like movie cars. When it comes to the General Lee, maybe the maker thought it would have been better as a Corvette.

I used to wonder that myself. Like Knight Rider...what it if had been a Corvette instead? What if Bullitt had been a Nova or Camaro?

What's wrong with it? Someone is using it for a race car, so they painted it and put a number on it. Still pretty inexpensive way to get into racing at the lower levels. I know a two guys that are doing just this, but didn't go so far as to paint their cars though. They race the ZR1s just like all the other guys are racing the Z06 and Grand Sports.

I would like to add that I think it wiser to buy a C4 or C5 and fix that up for racing rather than spend $125k to race a new Corvette. But lots do.
