Howdy! Busy day here today, have a class all morning and meetings most of the afternoon. I have a hunch my mind will be wandering, wishing I was on a golf course.

Have a good one, yawlz!

Good morning.
My phone has been ringing off the hook this morning. There are only a couple of people that call. Take a wild guess who it is ...........(Yes Dear) ........... I have my plans set but that doesn't mean too much around here. Being retired means I can put anything off till later and she knows it. Wash the boat insides, rinse and wipe the 90 and go take a few pics. The boat was rather mad with me yesterday for not using it recently and the carbs decided they wanted to act up. Got it running though. I need to take it out and run the piss out of it. Maybe next week. Tomorrow is surgery day. I think wifey will be layed up for a few days with this one. Sis is back in the hospital. Fluid around her heart and lungs. Her days a numbered. She's 65 and looks older than my mother. There is never a dull day ..... at least for me .....

Good luck to your ladies Tommy.

It's supposed to be nice here today. I have to get to HD when they open up and get some more wood to saw up.

Then I gotta get the sawdust off the C4. I need some time away from house projects.

Seems like everytime you take a break from the house projects you win something.

Good Morning CGs!

Sorry to hear about you sister, Tommy, hope she gets better quick. Same with the whiff.

I am not typing from my usual desk. I am in MI right now at my folks' house. Found out yesterday after work I needed to come take care of some business related stuff so I drove out here. Made good time with no visits from our friendly law enforcement officers. I have a bunch to do today and tomorrow before I head back out. Rugrat #1s bday party is Saturday morning so I can't miss that.

Other than that, not much to report. I probably won't be around too much the next couple of days.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good morning guys...It's another day (next to the last with kids) at school, kids don't want to do anything (surprise, surprise)so it makes the hour go by slowly when I'm riding their arse. The shop is getting closer to being ready for summer.

Tommy, I hope the wife and your sister make quick turn arounds. Dampish again today here, it actually sprinkled on me on my way to school this morning. Bill, you need that quality time at the casino, so you can fulfill your promise! Marcus, looks like today might be a good day to clean the Vette up and ready it for those pictures.

Got to go check on the rowdy kids....

Tommy, never a dull moment is a good thing. But I don't have to tell you that. The alternative is the people who's lives are so boring they get their drama from television.

Matt, you're in MI and I wan't informed?

Bill leave the sawdust on the car it hides the true color.

I'm walking on cloud nine right now. I went to the Dr. for follow up X-Rays and he was amazed at the progress. I have been cleared to drive, although still no running, soccer, etc. The 6 week healing process has been reduced to 4 weeks. And they want to take my DNA for medical science because I heal at an incredible rate

I have a normal shoe on today, it still hurts but I'm considering racing this weekend. Probably not a great idea...at the very least I can drive the blue car again!

Good afternoon guys...
Tommy... hope the surgery goes well.. Hope Sis is ok too!
I'm working in Quanitco VA, today. An hour and a half commute. No cell phones, no media, no nothing....
Can't wait to get out of here and head home.

I got a bit more done on the car yesterday and am planning on taking off tomorrow to spend the whole day with it. I have been doing about 2 to 3 hours per night over the past few nights but I need a full day to get the remaining tid bits done and get it fired up. Maybe tomorrow. Any day now... I'm like an expectant father! LOL

Gotta go now... will chat later when I get home

Honestly, no idea. I brought it home Tuesday and the same Friday I broke my foot. Not counting 1399 miles of rainy American interstate I have no miles on her.

I got the new shocks last week, I'm hoping to put them on tonight. Nothing like getting right back into the swing of things after good news from the Doc!

Lowered the Mustang today.

Added about 500 pounds of my belongings to it... Sits nice out back now!

Hanging out with my kids tonite... On the road before anyone stirs tomorrow.

See you MO crew dudes tomorrow! Hoping to get to Durango_Boy's house around 6PM, local time. Give or take, depending on weather and traffic. Was almost exactly 12 hours on the road a few weeks ago when I made the trip.

Cheers!

@Chris - Have fun... drive carefully!!

Man, what a day... I'm exhausted again. I just put another couple hours in the garage. I think I have all the mechanical stuff for the engine all done. The only things remaining to do is put the inner fender wells or whatever you call them. front spoiler, some other little crap I took off the front end to make it easier to do something... Oh.. I need to bolt the battery down and fill it with fluids and flash the PCM. Then do another walk through and tie off some wires that are hanging down around the passenger side header. Neaten up the spark plug wires and fix one little connector that goes to the brake master cylinder. Its an odd little connector and I remember someone else here having the same connector needing replaced. I'll fix this one for now and look for a replacement later.

Cheers --- I'm going to hit the sack early...
Kathie ordered 30 bags of mulch that were on sale at HD. I got to go pick them up in the morning. Do you think she is trying to tell me something?

Can you grab some potato salad and cole slaw on the way back. Dont forget a nice fresh loaf of 5 grain bread from the bakery. Thanks dear.

In the pics I posted, take note of the little dimple behind the driver's door at the top of the fender on the '55 wagon - it didn't come from the factory that way.

I worked about 10 hours today cleaning garbage and doing maintenance on a house and I'll be back tomorrow to sand the floors in preparation for stain/poly. Feel free to stop by SCS and give a hand (no foot required). I'll be back on the road to Chicago tomorrow afternoon.

Other than that, Gurus, I'm tired and off to bed.
