Good Morning CGs!

Well I had another busy day yesterday. I went to HD and got the top cap bricks for the front retaining wall I built around the tree. Neighbor came over later in the evening and helped cut those with a 14" gas chop saw. Of course, I had to spend an hour fixing it before we could use it, but that's no big deal. That job is done. I also fixed my weed whacker. FIL gave me his old one (identical to mine) because I was having problems with the bump feed. Turns out his had a broken fuel pick up and wouldn't run. So I cannibalized the two and made one good one. Works now Later in the afternoon I rebuilt part of the rear retention wall we just had rebuilt My wife didn't like the way it ended, so I had to pull part of it out, redig, reset, recut, rebuild so it curved differently towards the house. It actually looks much nicer now, but that was another 2 hours or so. Busy day for me.

What's on the agenda today? I have real work to do (or at least get paid for).

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good morning.
Why women are important in our lives.
1. They awaken areas of the brain that normally would get little use if not for their input in a mutual discussion.
2. There inability to forget past discussions and bring up sore points over and over and over again in an attempt to gain resolve.
3.Their keen insight in seing your in a good mood and deciding that is the best time to bring up things they would like you to do.
4. The tireless simple questions a woman asks of a man in random rotation.
5. Who are you spending time with?
6. What are you doing?
7. When are you going to do something?
8. Where are you going?
9. Why? The unanswered question that runs through a womans mind about every aspect of a mans life.
10.How about you do what I ask for a change?

This is just a sample of the thousands of ways a woman impacts a mans life. Key word ....... Impacts

Here we go again ......

Sure glad we have an extra bedroom.

I know a lot about women Tommy, what do you need to know....
I have it all figured out......maybe we need a women chat part of the forum where guys can go to get advice from older more mature individuals like me........

Big tuesday on wednesday so I gotta get going. Rained yesterday with lots of wind but no hail or tornados so its all good. We have not had to irrigate yet this year and that is amazing for this country.

Have a good day Guru's its already hump day.

No, beating it is the alternative!

Your last bullet point reminded me of a line from an old TV show that I use on my employees whenever possible:

"How long am I going to sit here and watch you NOT do what I asked you to do?"

Good morning guys.....I have a cousin from California and his wife here. They have been out on a cross country trip since March 31. They are on their way home. We caught up with them at my brothers house on the 4th and I invited them out here yesterday so they came out and spent the night.

I've got to work on their camper (1990 Winnebago Toyota conversion) they've had trouble with the AC. First it needed freon, then it quit, and at my brothers place they found it had thrown the belt. Yesterday coming out they found it would cool for a while then stop, then cool, then stop. I think that the condensation drain is plugged, filling up and causing the coil to freeze up, then when it thaws it cools a while and repeat. He says that when they turn it off "it drips inside the cab, but not on the ground". Anyway, I'm going to look at the drain this morning and see if I can get the drain to work properly.

It's hotter than heck and drier than a popcorn fart. Marcus send some of that moisture down here, please.

My wrist feels way better, swelling's gone and just some very minor pain. So, I'll finish the antibiotics (another 5 days) and won't do any heavy work for a while.

I watched a Heart concert last nite on that concert channel I get. They did their entire first album, Dreamboat Annie. At the end they did 2 Led Zepplin songs, Black Dog and Over the Hills & Far Away, and the Who's Rain on Me. Pretty good.

Bill Engval has that covered, one answer fits all: "I don't know".

Good to hear you're on the upswing, Bill!

I've been busy since I got out of bed, finally gonna head to the DQ for a little treat. I had to do some more blocking on my deck frame this morning, then had to fiddle with my miter saw to get it square (it's been wacky since my nephew dropped it). Anyway, I got a little over half of the decking cut for the bigger side of the deck, and will fasten it in the morning. Added a few pics to my web page:
