Same poster has a few more and from the looks of the pictures he might have even more than he's listing.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone is looking for a complete project car.

Looks like he's been hoarding these C3's for a while.

I prefer to pick them up at discount after the restorer has had their fun. Like kit cars, they cost a fortune to build. It's best to pick it up third hand. IMO

There was a 78-79 for sale last fall around me that was partially assembled. The motor had brand new trickflow heads, intake, rebuild, etc never fired. Wasn't running though. He wanted less for the car than he had in the engine parts, but I had to pass. I wanted to stay married (kind of).

Yea, the key words are "a fortune to build" , this goes double for the project cars.

I prefer to buy a good one to start with. The money's way better spent.

Tyler's example @ $5,500 sounds good but I'll bet big $$$ that you'll put another $5k in it with in 6 months.

Or, do you find a nice 93, second or third owner that keeps it covered in a garage and has all the service records for $10,500 ?

I paid aa couple grand extra for my car, I rarely work on my car, just drive it.

Just sayin'.

If you did this you wouldn't get the "Corvette Experience". You know those fun problems, or the extra amount we pay for GM parts.

I'll let you guys have that fun.

Besides, C4 parts are GM cheap, try buying parts for a total restoration of a C2.

Must have some issues the pictures/description don't reveal. A decent running LT1 should be scooped up for that price.

If I wanted any money out of mine, I would need a nice gentle wreck that would total it and then strong arm the ins company... ever so gently... and hopefully get $8k or so out of it.
