Done! I felt nothing as I was on I-95 crusing about 75mph with hundreds of other smucks.

My wife and neighbors were astonished by the intensity. My home office has crap everywhere. I'm a stacker and I stack CD, DVDS, Magazines etc. I had a shelf fall over full of cds and other stuff. My '63 corvette die cast had a roll over on to the floor with no damage luckily. Over 75 Hot Wheels and Johnny Lightning Corvettes are scattered on the floor. Well, it's not much worse than normal but I can see that the book shelves moved a couple inches from the walls and things on the shelves did so also. I can see the trails in the dust! LOL

My wife called me freaking out. I was just like Don, cruising down the highway with no clue what the earth was doing under me.
I had her go out into the garage and check on the Vette since it's up on jackstands.

I was at work, had just finished a meeting and was chatting with one of the Marine Capt's when it started.

Was no big deal at first, just a minor tremor for about 10 seconds.... then it really got going. I knew what was going on and felt pretty safe until all the AC ducting started swaying around... at that point we found out there wasn't room under the conference table for me and the Capt. LOL

Luckily no damage at work and when I got home, there was nothing out of place.

That has to be pretty damned unnerving! Could you imagine being under your Vette with it up on jack stands with that going on? Yikes!

I think my dad was! He's in northeast PA so hopefully it wasn't too extreme for him.

I tried to call him this evening but couldn't get ahold of him. I'm sure if anything happened I would have heard by now.

So... everyone enjoy that ride??

Do some research on the New Madrid Fault... well, it isn't a fault... but a mess in the making.

I think the biggest fault in the East Coast is located in Washington DC....

OMG now the rest of the country will be feeling the rath of Kaliforinas earthquake retro fits for all public buildings.

Don't think its gonna be easy or cheap.

Maybe the great and powerful O can capitalize on this and create more govt jobs like he did in Washington state! Ya know 20 million to retrofit homes that would create 2000 new jobs. Then a year later 3 homes were completed and 14 jobs created. But...... where did the money go??????

We need a toilet b0mb
