Great day in the mornin .....

Granite guys are coming at 10:00. One of the workers is spending the day here at the house working on the landscape. I'll be working on whatever it is that I'll be working on. Haven't quite put it together yet but for sure I'll be doing something. It will present itself by the time I get dressed. Wifey said something about digging the pool. I said go ahead and dig it. She said only if I can dig up a box full of money. Ya hun. That's what I've been telling you for weeks. There's nothing left in the change jar babe. Time to start builing a pool fund. I see some DNBFS days in the horizon. Still a pretty good distance away though. I'd say after Nov 20. That's the day after the party.

Tommy, I hope the granite install is smooth sailing. Hopefully you'll have some days of peace around soon.

Last day of work before my weekend. Looking forward to being off, although I watch the kids a couple days. I'd like to clean the garage tomorrow (yeah, right, like that'll happen...). I also need to tinker with the neighbor's van some more, I've got parts in my garage waiting to be installed. Tune up stuff.

Stayed up waaay to late last night cuising the currant Music Fest.....got hooked on Jr. Brown....lots of talent there.

Husker Saturday so we will be heading in to the game later this morning....we play Northwestern.....we should do ok...big tests coming next few weeks.

Clear here but windy supposed to hit 60 but wind chill will make it seem cooler. Have fun today Guru's....

Morning guys....We're in KC, watching two of the grands. Monday is our youngest birthday, and she and her hubby went out for the night. Had supper with the other daughter last night and ironed out some plans for T-giving. Not much else going on, go watch a soccer game after while.

It's supposed to be nice today, pretty cool right now though. I hope everyone has a great day.

Howdy! The neighborhood is abuzz with yard work, so I guess I'll get out there and do my bit. It's supposed to be sunny today, but the skies have an ominous edge to them, and forecasters are notorious liars.

Got absolutely nothing done today. Tried to sleep late, heiffer next door and her brat woke me up early and have been thumping all day. I swear she cleans 24-7. I needed to plant some things in the yard, the car needs cleaned, the house is a mess.

Ahh take the day off Letty, it will all get done.......or not.

Just got back from the Husker game......we were not so good....in fact we were terrible......from last week to this week was like two different teams......Oh well...

Alabama and LSU tonight.....Roll Tide.....!

The Gophers made a good showing today, lost to Michigan State by a touchdown. They were 28-point underdogs, and were in the game until the end, threw an interception trying to drive for the tying score. Nice to see some improvement the last couple weeks.
