Since I'm on here at 6:15 this morning I guess I'll get it rolling today. Good morning gentlemen!

I finally got around to spending my $200 gift certificate to Mid-America yesterday. I ordered the new front air dam with the brake cooling inlets. I also ordered one of those organizer trays for behind the seats in the storage area. I hope this stuff is good quality and not a bunch of junk.

Also in big news here that is pretty cool, Robert Fogarty is the owner of Sport Automotive, our club's sponsor. This year he was also responsible as the Chairman of the DC Autoshow and represented the new car dealerships from the Washington D.C. area. I haven't seen the media yet but he was scheduled to be among the automotive big whigs that walked President Obama around the car show. Just another interesting factoid.

Have a good day guys... off to the schoolhouse!

Good Morning CGs!

Sounds like you picked up a few nice items, Don. You'll have to give us an analysis of the quality once you get them.

It's February already. I can't believe that. Here's an interesting write up on Leap Year, which we are currently in:

http://www.timeanddate.com/date/leapyear.html

Hope everyone has a great day!

Another day- So far this week 3 people have turned in their resignations-Situation here has become one massive CF..
I've been looking at other options, but with wife and child to support most of the things I'd like to do aren't feasible at this point..

Looking forward to hearing about that spoiler Don! Been looking at that for a while!

How come everybody is quiting David? Another nice day today but snow coming Friday night. Got the brake fluid changed and the power steering fluid also. It was all very dark looking and I am sure was the original stuff. All the fluids have been changed out except the radiator and it looks good. Maybe this fall. I used 10-30 Mobile One in the engine.

Outdoor work today before the snow got one field to soil sample yet. Let's roll Guru's......

Good morning
Thinking about what is on my hot list. I'm thinking about bringing my 928 clutch plates back to Miami Clutch for a kevlar relining. The intermediate plate should be finished at the machine shop by the time we get back from the Keys vacation. Then all I'll have to pick up is the pilot bearing and bring at all down to the mechanic for the reinstall. Woke up sluggish with a sore back from swinging a pick around before dinner last night. We planted a small tree in the front yard. Funny how ignored muscle groups let you know you haven't been paying them much attention. Guess that's why I usually ache all over.

Morning, I think.

Guess I'll play with Corvettes today. I hope to finish the fiberglass work on ine of the C2 doors, have some wet sanding to do. I should get away with zero Bondo.
I'm very anti-Bondo.

Hhhhmm. The intermediate plate is almost done at the machine shop. I WILL be off to get the clutch plates relined today. Time to shower and get my ass out the door. I'm gonna bring the clutch cover plate up to the machine shop and see if they can press the old pilot bearing out. It's in pretty solid. At this rate the car might be on the road by Easter.

Howdy! Pea-soup fog out there, glad it didn't start until after I got to the office. Blind morons are probably worse than ones who can see.

Hope all the turmoil presents a good opportunity for you, David!

Have a good day, everybody!

Morning guys...man for a "non-school" day I've been busy. Faculty meeting this morning, and maintenance to do on some other things around school here. I actually have to go to work and run the clock for three or four MS b-ball games this afternoon, could have been worse and had to work the morning sessions too.

Nice weather yet, one more day then they are talking major winter storm. I'm thinking I need to find a piece of snow fence to maybe alleviate the snow piling up in my drive-way.

Field sobriety test for Zamboni drivers.

Say Zamboni three times fast.

How many hockey sticks am I holding up?

Take ten paces forward, toe to toe on the red line.

Follow the puck (back and forth).

Now.... Place your hands behind your back.

Gotta mention Goo-Gone gel again. It will always be in my shop from now on.
It did desolve the old trim adhesive on the C2 doors.

It smells like oranges, not toxic. Washes off with soap & water. Absolutely won't touch the paint.

The C2 has a clear plastic water barrier between the door trim panel and the fiberglass. It's held on with a white caulk. Old & dried, it doesn't scrape off well.

I did the whole door in 15 minutes with Goo.

Baking brownies and watching Winnie the Pooh with rugrat #1. Doesn't get much better than that. And Bill and Tommy, keep the sassy comments to yourselves!

Yes, really. I've never made a sarcastic remark on this forum.

Though, one wonders who chose what to watch, M or RR?
If I was a betting man (which I'm not ), I'd bet....................
