Good Morning CGs!

No work on the car last night. Neighbor had a bonfire so I took the kids over to play for an hour and a half. We make some polish sausage and drank a couple beers. Nice to relax.

I have a few days off coming up, but they are pretty jam packed with activities already. I'd like to get the car back on the road.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Howdy! They are actually including the word "snow" in the forecast for Saturday. Delightful. We were having some problems with cable TV Monday night, some channels disappeared. So the techs came out yesterday, did a great job. They fixed some connections, replaced all my splitters, gave me 2 more DVR's and a new cable modem. It's all running like a top now.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Good Brad...just in time to see your Goofers get pounded by the Huskers..... and how about those Viqueens....what has gotten into them.....

Warm today then in for a cooler spell. Got family coming in for Uboys home game this weekend so I am doing things to get ready or to try and make the place look better. That is hard to do since big chunks of the lawn are dead and we are in the process of replant...oh well at least the porch got done.

Have a wonderful and enlightning day Guru's.....

Morning guys...it started off better this morning, I basically ignored my 1st hour MS class, so i didn't get into the fractions thing... I kept busy doing some other things in the classroom and left them to struggle with the measuring thing.

The "senior supper" last night was really good. A great caterer, wonderful entertainment by an 8th grade girl who can really belt out the songs (I'm thinking "Voice" or "America's got talent" quality). And I didn't get elected to any position.

Came home from that and watched the new Overhaulin'. It was good. I like Chip Foose. Anyone else watch it?

Yea, when I get the feeling that America's going downhill, seeing a guy like the Impala owner lets me know that there are still some upright, responsible people around.

Not for the US market. In the US it would cost $3000 just to get it out of the holding yard at the port. Then add taxes, dealer prep, advertising fees, excise tax and transportation, you are up to $5000. Now factor in the cost of the vehicle You're up to $9000 for a $3000 car. Add the options. $10,500 out the door, but you'll be fashionable.

Hardly
Datsun - Import = $3,000
Datsun - US (Union built) - $23,000

At the field, don't park by a fire plug or block an exit.

Think Astro-Turf or spray out the yard in a deep rich green. Really, artiicial grass = no maintenance.

I measure everything to the nearest quarter inch now since those are the only lines I can see besides the inch marks.

I just got back from a morning run. No, not exercising. Making a delivery. Now I'm off to help the kid move a bookshelf, attach it to the wall and help him move a few boxes of crap. Then I get to come home and start doing my $#!+. Next few days will be BillH style though. Let me see. Will I do this, or that, or none of it.
