American Hydrocarbon just purchased both the front and rear spoilers from the Italian company that makes these and is gearing up to produce them in the U S. They will fit any generation of C4 and can be made in carbon fiber or fiberglass. You paint to match your car or just leave the carbon fiber ones in their natural state.

I am going to purchase a fiberglass one for the rear of my 91.

I like the look. I would be worried, tho, if the rear spoiler actually tries to apply down force on the plastic bumper cover... could be bad... very bad...

That C4 is BAD TO THE BONE, though.

The rear spoiler is the only thing I would put on the back of my vette. I can't stand wings, but that looks like it belongs there.

Cost is going to be the big factor. I remember the import cost was going to be over $1000 for the set.

Rear spoiler in fiberglass is under $300. Price to be determined.

I like the front piece... I would consider that, because the OEM pieces are constantly getting eaten by driveways. That looks more tucked up and less prone to damage.

Not my thing, but probably the best wing option I've seen yet.

I don't see that spoiler taking up any less space than the stock one.

In fact if you have a Z51, isn't the non-Z51 shorter? That could be an option for some of you, especially if lowered.

My main issue is my front spring mounts have come unglued and are moving around in there somewhere, or maybe gone all together. Probably really bad for the spring, not to mention the overall suspension performance, it drops the car more too. But hey I've got a few track days on it like that, lol.

I like the front spoiler. I'm not much of a wing man. The crunch factor is my main concern. It will happen. Only when is the question. I have a brand new set I bought about two years ago and they're sitting in my shed. I'd better put it on the list.

Just because I have some free time I have a comment to share. Like many other's that have said the same thing~ what is up with the front end on stock C4's with getting the "Front Air Deflector(s)" hit and/or scraped every single time I go into my driveway, which is only 2-3 inches tall, or speed bumps?

The Front Spoiler as pictured in this post not only looks better than the factory but looks sturdier as well. I have replaced mine a number of times over the years and I have fabricated my own "Big Mouth Performance Air Dam" which is fine as it doesn't hit.

I do have a wing on the back of my Corvette. I also have one off of a GenIII Camaro that actually would fit if I so wished but just have sitting in my garage. I do like the looks of this one however. It more closely resembles a C5 version rear spoiler, nice.

I am going to include a photo here for all to see. It's a shot of my Corvette exiting the garage showing the underside of the front bumper & the front air deflector's as well my "Big Mouth" which I find hard to see in th shadows. Oh well.

All this talk about front air dams and spoilers made me think back four years ago when we first bought our Vette. Like most driveways, the apron at the end of mine had a regular old curb. And I would crunch the air dam coming and going, no matter how slow I crawled. Literally, two weeks after I brought the car home, the water main in front of my house sprung a leak. I had water coming straight up through a crack in the curb and flooding my street. I called my town hall and they sent out a crew to investigate. One month later, I had a complete new curb AND a nice new driveway apron that smoothly ramps down to meet the street! Talk about perfect timing! I never owned a Corvette while my parents were alive, but they both knew I always wanted one. To this day my wife still claims that was a little gift from Heaven, sent by my parents.

I got to test fit it on my car before it was finished up and sent off to have molds made. I doubt it'll make enough downforce to damage the rear facia. BUT, it is fairly tall and has some good surface area.

They finished the rear spoiler. 390 or 425 shipped to your door.
