Good Morning CGs!

I am up and at 'em early. FIL's car is in the drive. I have to replace the crank sensor on it. Common problem on 02-06 Altimas. Found the fast method online so it should go quick. Luckily I tinkered last night and couldn't get the plastic engine cover off because of seized bolts. So I soaked them overnight with PB Blaster. Hope that did the trick.

Kids stayed at grandma and grandpa's again last night to give us another break. Wife is still hurting and the pain meds make her very drowsy. Hope it is over for her soon.

In-laws took me out to dinner last night for my birthday which was a nice treat, I wasn't expecting it. Actual day is today. I just want to tinker and go to a car show. That's a good enough day for me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning guys....and Happy Birthday to you Matt. I stayed up last night watching the "D-Day in HD" on the History channel. Amazing the sacrifices that we made and that we were successful. All I can say is God was with us, because we should not have won, if you look at all the variables.

I have a few little jobs that I can do today, to keep busy. Looks like we are leaving Thursday for a few days off.

Have a great day gurus.

Sunny and cool outside today....got in my GS last night and all the settings were off...radio, seat, mirrors. The only thing I can figure is I was using the spare FOB which I never have done and it must key all the settings to it from the PO. I hate crap like that....don't like it don't need it....

May go for a drive today in the Corvette will wait and see.

Happy Birthday Matt...maybe you can go for a drive in your Corvette today also...hope so.

Have a great day Guru's......

Happy Birthday, Matt....
Stayed up and worked on this book layout will after midnight last night. Woke up at 6 and started to get up and get at it again and was just too sleepy. Up ag 8:15, and have had my biscuits and gravy and coffee so I'm bout to dive back in. I'm bout halfway with editorial stuff and done all the ad work I can. They still haven't gotten off their ends and got their poop in a group and got me all I need. it prints Friday. I'm worried. They do this to me every time. Today we're supposed to have a break from the forty days and forty nights of rain, with just clouds today, and start back up again on Monday. Have a good Sunday, everyone.

Greetings! Bright and sunny out there, quite a switch from yesterday. I think I got most of my chores out of the way yesterday, or at least it seemed so. So today, I think I'll just putter around and raise an occasional frosty beverage in Matt's general direction.

Enjoy your Sunday, Gurus!

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys.

Got the crank sensor installed. It was a real PIA. About an hour and a half. I think I could do the next one in 30 minutes or less. There are some Nissan techs who make their living doing those sensors. I've heard of guys doing between 20-100....a week. Crazy.

Yeah well now that you're warmed up Matt, my fuel guage is going bonkers just driving down the road so my fuel guage sensors must be finally giving up. It's a stupidly hard fix which requires a massive amount of work to get at the damn thing.....

I had filled a claim with Chevy back when it started acting up lets hope they still have it on file.

Matt you're not planning on coming out this way soon are you...?

Marcus - I read that using a few bottles of techron repeatedly can help with the fuel sender issue. Not sure if you tried that. Otherwise drive it over and we'll fix it. My tools are all in my garage so clearly I can't come to you

BEEN ANOTHER GRAY, RAINY DAY IN THE NATIONS. I WOULD SURE LIKE TO SEE A LITTLE DRY.

TEEBEE YOU AND YOUR WIFE HAVE MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES. PUTTING MY MOTHER IN A NURSING HOME WAS THE HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE. YOU DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE.

Here's one frosty beverage tipped to Matt's direction.. got a first run proof of the book sent off at 3, got in the pool to vacuum it, going great, hit the sides some, the damned thing stuck and wouldn't come loose, so now the vac head's broke - guess at least it was working good.. then a stick got hung in the impellars on the pump, got that out, the pump works better than ever now that I took it apart but makes a hell of a noise now - nothing I have tried to do today has worked - nothing. but at least my dinner is hot and my beer is cold. Counts for something.
Sorry to hear of the nursing home issues - having my cousin in there isn't easy. Never had to put my parents in there, both went to hospital and that was it. Prayers and sympathies for you - God bless.
thought the sun was coming out, but then it rained on me outside. Back up to 60% chance tomorrow...
