Bill would love it here - this morning the humidity was 82%. Fortunately the storms they'd been talking about yesterday never materialized. Gonna be toasty out there for golf tonight, but it's supposed to cool off later in the week.

Morning guys....don't think we quite got to the 103 yesterday, I saw 101 on our thermometer. About the time I went out to men's golf, it was clouding up. We got one hole in when the storm hit. Not a lot of rain, but the wind was blowing so hard it nearly tipped over a golf cart. So we went in to the clubhouse and had supper waiting for it to blow over. Wind went down, but it never stopped lightening. So we went home.

I have a Dr. appointment today, and several errands to run while I'm over in the "city".

HOT here today so going to get out a bit early. I'm always bitching how cold it is in the winter so I better enjoy these warm days...

Word of the day...hydrate.....drink lots of water Guru's....last night at 10 pm it was like a warm bath out on the deck...so hot and humid....

We had a moderate 75* around here yesterday afternoon. Could have been from the blinding rain storms, thunder booming audio effects and accompanying light show. A power line snapped by the nursery and did a dancing snake fire show. Power got knocked out for several hours but the crews had it up and running pretty quickly considering. There's a long burn mark in a neighbors lawn where the line went down. Right now we have soggy ground but pleasant temps. I'm sure it's bound to change. Irrigation man and crew are here today to bury about a hundred ft. of pvc. After that, his job is done. My BIL, MIL and FIL have given sonny boy a 5 day notice to move. All he does is sit in his bedroom and not contributing to the expenses of my BIL's townhouse. They tried but had no success in turning him around. He does go to counseling but takes his meds intermittently. My FIL gave him a list of the local homeless shelters. Told him to get busy. FIL is filling up his car and sending him on his way. You can't help people that refuse to help themselves. Sonny boy wants nothing to do with us and so it is. Sue and I are cool. We've dealt with it and did what we could do. Looks like he's destined for the criminal justice system and court ordered evaluation and treatment. So be it. Don't let this be a downer. It's life and only the facts.

Sounds a lot like my SIL, soon to be Ex-SIL, Tommy.

Every scotch pine tree in the State will be dead soon. We lost 10 big pine trees on our west side of the house...they were great and now they are gone....such is life....

Depression is a tough one to recon with and I hope your son will keep up on his meds Tommy. They do help and he needs a good councilor also....prayers will continue for him...

Slow day at the other day job today. Put a bid in for some Kona beans at the coffee shop next door, he needs some stickers and I like coffee... another pretty day here today, low humidity I hear and plenty of sunshine.

Yikes is it hot out...just got back in...heat index is probably like 200 degrees.....it was real pleasant in the cornfields with the pollen and even hotter in the canopy....as long as my AC in the truck is good I'm good...

Well the heat hit us today. I waited until it cooled down a little after dinner to do some yard work. Trimmed some bushes since it is garbage night and got that cleaned up. Tomorrow I need to finish staining the fence.

Well it was a long day.....drove the hour and a half to the Dr. He came in looked at my hands, knees, elbows, feet, chest back and face. Looked closely at a few moles and spots then proceeded to tell me I don't have psoriasis, but a form of eczema. "You don't want Psoriasis, insurance companies don't like psoriasis." Asked me several questions, told me I need to lose some weight as that might complicate the eczema. He asked me what I do for a living...."I'm a school teacher." then he asked, "do you come into to contact with tools which have metal or rubber coated handles?"....."Yes...."Do you carry pocket knives or coins regularly and do your thighs itch? I believe that you are probably have some allergies to zinc." So his recommendation was he put me on a couple of OTC products and said there was a shot he could give me but said there is a prescribed creme for the affected areas we could try, my choice. I told him "Let's try the cream first, if that doesn't work then we can go the other route." So out the door I go.

On the way in I saw a white C6 for sale, so I stopped to take a look at it. A really nice 07 with 47k on the clock, both tops and all the options, including F55 and cashmere interior. Wants $28250. His got a 2000 almost identical to mine (originally) without my upgrades, and 29k on the clock. I ask him if he's interested in trading. Nah, I've got one almost like yours. If mine sells, I'd be interested in this one.

I've had a couple inquiries on my Corvette this evening. A pretty good text conversation with one. Fingers are crossed.
