Right now, nothing. At work, usually bluegrass or a radio station that plays an eclectic blend of great music of many genres that you'll never hear on any mainstream stations.

I missed the whole 90s pop music thing. I think I was a NASCAR junkie and into Country Music ( Alan Jackson Tobi Keith, et al,.) 2000s who knows - I'm still listening to 30 year old songs. |

Anybody remember when Metallica didn't suck?
I like pretty much anything. From Pantera to The Carpenters. Not really into country or reggae. And while I do like some "old school" rap, it has been an acquired taste. I did not like it in the '80s, but I can enjoy it now. Run DMC, L.L. Cool J, and what have you. But I will say that I have one VERY guilty pleasure... West Side Connection. Gangster Rap featuring Ice Cube. The language makes me cringe sometimes, but I really like the way it sounds, and it is well produced. Favorites? Dio, Scorpions, Rush, Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, SRV, Satriani, Alice in Chains, Dokken, Ratt (all that 80's hair band stuff). And I just learned about Apocolyptica and Leningrad Cowboys yesterday, so I'm gonna try to find some of that. I simply LOVE music! |
