Good morning gang.

Cloudy here this morning and looks like it will stay that way most of the day with showers on and off. Temps should reach upper 50's.

Word of the Day Tuesday, October 07, 2014

foremost \ FAWR-mohst, -muhst, FOHR- \, adjective, adverb;

Good Morning CGs!

So I took the car out last night for a quick shakedown. The significant miss was still just as present as before. Now I am leaning back towards ignition problem. When I get a chance the first thing I will check is wires and then I will swap the cap out with my old used one. Never ends.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Geez Matt hope you find the problem.....can you curse in German...? I know some Spanish cuss words that I can lend you.....I have always admired folks who can cut loose on something in several languages.....

Kinda cloudy out but warm as the harvest is underway out here on the prairie....and so it begins...

Another day of goofing off for me....I'm waiting on a bid back from Racedeck Floors....I have learned they will deal when pushed and who better to push than me.....I told them I was working also with Swisstrax and Garagedeck floors...which both make the same type of flooring. Leno swears by SwissTrax but they were more money than Racedeck initially. More on that later....I got my design worked out on Racedeck's floor designer function which works well....

Ok better get some breakfast.....have a good amazing grace day Guru's....

Howdy! It'll be mid 50's here today, but quite windy. I'm sure the winds will be bringing tropical temps in behind them. Uh-huh. Sure they will.

Have a good day, all!

should be a nice cool 98 today.
Hair cut day. My classroom aide is in beauty school and she is giving me the hair cut. I told her if she screws it up she still has to look at it 5 days a week

LOL, HOPE YOU'VE BEEN NICE TO HER. SHE MAY HAVE TO LOOK AT IT BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO WEAR IT :-) BUT NEVER FEAR, HAIR IS A RENEWABLE RESOURCE, UNLESS YOU'RE FOLLICULARLY CHALLENGED.

THE SUN IS SHINING ON THE CHEROKEES, SUPPOSED TO GET UP TO 85 TODAY. HAD A TWO HOUR MEETING AT THE ROD & GUN CLUB LAST NIGHT. I USUALLY DON'T GO, HATE MEETINGS, BUT THEY WERE ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING RATHER STUPID. WE DODGED THE BULLET THIS TIME. IT WAS A GOOD IDEA POORLY WRITTEN, THAT WOULD HAVE OPENED THE CLUB TO BEING LOOTED BY CROOKED OFFICERS. SEEMS A LOT OF PEOPLE CAN SEE NO FURTHER THAN THE END OF THEIR NOSE.

Up at 06:00, out at 6:45 for a delivery. Home at 10:00. Ready for a nap ............. Ring ............ Ring .......... but just not yet. I have to load a trailer. See if I'm still nappy after that. I heard and saw lots of police activity. Now they have the chopper flying around. Wonder what that's all about.

Morning guys....Late start getting here. Had kids in early making up work, then been busy cutting things with the CNC. A project that I am donating to, Pheasants Forever. They had asked if I would build something for their auction, I said sure. So I am building a nice chest, with a cedar bottom and their logo on the front and hunting scenes on the other panels. Should be a neat project when it is done and I hope it brings lots of money for them. I have the kids working on a written assignment due next week, so I have a few minutes here.

That burger is ridiculous, Marcus. Better hide Tommy, they might be looking for you. Steve, the difference between a good aircut and a bad haircut is about 8 days...... They have been cutting around here for a couple weeks already, Marcus. Of course we are dryer here. Matt that sounds an awful lot like the problem I had with my 94 (of course it was my Opti, which you don't have on the L98). I'm betting ignition. the weather here is decent, 60's right now headed to low 80's.

Got to go a kid is in need of my attention.

Just got done lowering the rear of the GS....Looks like the old Doc I bought it from had been there before me. There wasn't a lot of bolt left to lower. The fronts are low enough already I was just trying to bring the rear end down even with the front.

I will go drive it and see then see if I did any good...next step is cutting the rubber bushing in half or taking it out completely.....which I don't have a lot of desire to do.....at this time.....

So much for a nap. A/C problem at the rental property, met with one of the pond workers to get some parts, sold and delivered a used John Deere lawnmower and loaded a trailer load of mulch. Got home at 04:45. Good thing I didn't have too much planned for the day. Rigginfriggin sassafrasson shidilabop.

Well, I had time to think about the problem and after dinner I went to work. First thing I checked was firing order...good. Next thing I checked was the wires being seated. Good on the cap...not so much on the plugs. Seems #7 popped off the other day while I was driving and that's what caused the problem. Popped it back on, took it for a test drive, and ran like a raped ape. Mad at myself for not doing a more comprehensive job earlier. But it's fixed.

And ja, I can swear a bit in German and Polish, too

Another busy day. The logo turned out great. Kids were excited to hear that they only have 3 1/2 days of school next week. While we teachers have 5.

After school I went back to try and get the last computer running right and printer working right. Took another 2 hours. Then I had a meeting this evening. It was OK I enjoyed talking to the people there and the entertainment was good. Two former students and 1 current play in a band, they played for about 30 minutes.

My day just didn't want to end. The mason came by and gave me a shopping list. Mortar, thin set and grout. Just about the time I got home from HD, sonny-boy stopped by for a chat. I guess I'll just be happy everything happened in one day. That way they're knocked out and I can move on. Tomorrow I have 3 pick ups. Thursday, an early delivery then a trip downtown to drop off a piece of driftwood. Friday I head to Bradenton on family matters. This is another month that's just flying by. Busy does that. Guess it's time to go take that nap. I'll just have to hook it into the regular nights sleep. Good night, gurus. I've got stuff lined up through the next week and a half. Looking forward to some DNBFS time.
