May disagree? I have been lifting rocks, trees, buckets of dirt and using assorted tools. Soreness makes me feel like I've accomplished ............ soreness.

I was reading the post yesterday about the beer mile run. I used to participate in the beer-bathroom walk. Drink a beer, walk to he bathroom, drink a beer, walk to the bathroom.

I have named the pond area "The Oasis". It even has it's own song. I'll try to post an updated pic later today to give you a good feel for it.

Good Morning CGs!

Friday, Friday, Friday. I actually have the weekend off so this is Friday. Looking forward to getting some things done this weekend. As I indicated yesterday, I have to get the car put in sleep mode. That will involve doing a little rearranging in my parents' garage but nothing major.

Good luck with the gun show, Gris. Hope you make a killing. Ha!

Tommy - just thinking of the oasis puts me in a calm state of mind. Looking forward to seeing it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Sue always says I complain about doing a lot of work but I usually love the end results. She's right about that. What do they call this? Oh ya, a water feature ........ with places to sit. There are coy and sucker fish already in the pond and as seen, water lilies. This would look beautiful in the high desert of Nevada.

Hyvyä huondestu!

Glad Friday is here - the week has flown by, but I'm ready for some serious sleeping-in. It's gonna turn much colder, so I'd better start thinking about pounding in the orange stakes around the perimeter of the yard (to tell the snow plow to keep the hell out) before the ground decides to freeze.

Tommy, that looks fantastic - your own little slice of heaven!

Enjoy your Friday, Gurus!

For those of you that don't know, that guy scooping up the carp with a net isn't fishing. He's catching. There is a difference. Fishermen don't always catch.

Nice job, Tommy. How does one acquire a horse statue, anyway?

As a gift from a client. They got tired of it. Also that's the only type of horse Sue is allowed to own around here. A bronze one.

The population of the sit & stare crowd is fairly low here.
