Just getting my bearings. The alarm was set for 06:00 so of course one of the dogs woke me at 05:30. Luckily I hit the hay at 10:30 so I'm good. Guess I'll be starting chores that much earlier. Hhhmmmm That should leave some time for an afternoon nap. Funny, just getting up and thinking about a nap. Have a productive day gurus

I feel blessed that I've seen the things I've seen and done the things I've done. Some of it wasn't even real. Feeling like an old hippie today. This could be fun.

Good Morning CGs!

So Tommy, it's 6:30 already? Ring...ring...ring

Weather report keeps changing. Yesterday they said snow today, 1-4 inches. Today it's snow tomorrow, 1-3 inches. Can't make up their minds. At least it's supposed to be 42. So they say....

In facebook news:

www.washingtonpost.com/news/th ... oning-fake-news-industry/

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

CLEAR AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, LOOKS LIKE A PRETTY DAY COMING UP. I'M OFF TO TULSA TO CHECK OUT A SMALL GUNSHOW, SEE IF THEY HAVE ANYTHING I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT.

Greetings! I put an impressive dent in my pillow. Looks like our warm stretch will continue for a while - could be mid-40's on Wednesday. Quite a contrast to last winter. 40's doesn't sound like much to southern folks, but it is a treat this time of year up here.

Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

Hey guys....got home from the game last night, our boys out it to their opponent winningby 22 after being ahead as much as 32 in the fourth quarter. #1 GS had a tough game, didn't score once, but made a difference on defense. I hope and pray that he has a better game tonight. Because we'll need him in order to win tonight. We make a run for the championship tonight at 8pm.

We got up at normal time, because Rosie took GS #3 to his ball game an hour away, while I represented us at a funeral of a former student and friend. He's had medical issues for as long as I've know him and in reality, I think he just got tired and gave up. It was pretty unexpected none the less. The church was packed, I was part of the choir, so I had to be there early.

It's been a pretty day, so I said to Rosie, "Let's take the Corvette, this evening." So, I've got it down, clean up a bit and warmed up, and ready to go. WE'll go over early as we have some things to do before the game.

Looks like Rosie is ready, I'll check back in later.

I've been a buying fool on ebay lately and we aren't even snowbound.

Recently bought The Sopranos series on DVD (New) and today I bought The complete series of Miami Vice, 5 seasons. (27 dvd's) Looks like I must be going retro on my viewing choices. Right now we're watching Boardwalk Empire. We were watching the first season of Brotherhood while I waited for season 4 of Boardwalk to come in. Plus I just ordered season 5, the final season. We've been watching videos as opposed to regular tv lately. Getting my gangster fix in.

For some uncanny reason (maybe it has to do with men thinking about sex every 16 seconds, or something like that) I thought about how through the decades these certain women I "liked" have some similarities. What do you think?
To me they all had or have a certain hotness.

Maybe this one is a little more flattering for Sophia Loren.

I really enjoyed Boardwalk, even just the little period details on the sets. That era has always fascinated me - back in school I did a lot of research on organized crime during Prohibition and did a couple of big presentations on it.

We went to Costco to pick up a couple things. $235 later, I have, among other things, what seems like a lifetime supply of waffles.

YA GOTTA BE VERY CIRCUMSPECT AROUND A MAN WITH A GUN AND AN ADRENALIN CHARGE.

SOME OF MY LESS INTELLIGENT COHORTS IN NAM USED TO TALK ABOUT TRYING TO CATCH THEIR SENTRIES SLEEPING. NOT ME, I ALWAYS MADE SURE THEY KNEW I WAS COMING. YOU WON'T FIND OLD GRIS SNEAKING UP ON A SLEEPY, SCARED 19 YEAR OLD WITH A FULL AUTO RIFLE. EVEN THE YOUNG GRIS WAS NOT THAT CRAZY :-0 (ALMOST, BUT NOT QUITE)

Well, we couldn't quite pull it off. They have a real problem with the third quarter. Got out scored in the third, 20-7 to go from a 5 point lead to a 12 point deficit. and the fourth quarter we hung with them point for point.

Came out after the game, and it was raining.....made the Corvette messy. So when we got home, I had to clean it up before putting it up on the lift. Then wiped the Caddy down too.

Supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow.
