Good Morning CGs!

So one of the signs of getting older.....is I need glasses. I have probably needed them for the past 2 years, but been putting them off. On Friday night when we were at the restaurant I was trying to read a menu on the wall a ways off...wasn't happening. I tried to close one eye and that only made it worse. Guess it's time. Wife made me an appointment in 2 weeks to see the eye doctor. Until that time I won't be taking any more 1000 yard sniper shots, so the terrorists are safe until then.

We've had nothing but rain the past 5 days and rain in the forecast through Sunday. I know you farmers like it, but enough is enough. It overfills my pool, kills the ph balance, and cools it down. I want some summer. Rant over.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Wuatsa ló!

Kinda overcast this morning, but I think it is supposed to clear up later. The estate needs to be mowed, so that'll be on the agenda later. I have a reminder on my calendar to make an appointment with the eye doctor - I've been snoozing it for about 15 weeks now, I guess I should get a round tuit.

Gonna punch this up on the DVR tonight, sounds good:

Have a good day, Gurus!

Good morning, all!

Another (frankly) disgusting day in the Philadelphia area: dreary with 100% humidity and a high of 88 degrees. However, I'm still so enthused about the Le Mans win that I'm willing to put up with the weather.

Ya great win John.....maybe you should go look at a new C7 to celebrate....

First its the eyes Matt, then the hearing, and then you have to take a pill to..............er....nevermind........

Personally I like everything about my GS and have no inclination to move up.....

Guess what?.....it rained last night and is cool and cloudy and muddy today....the farmers are not happy because they can't get the weeds sprayed and the side dress Nitrogen put on......which is bad.....summer where are you?

Did get the rest of the lawn mowed between rains though....but I can almost see it growing.......I demand to see some sunshine......

Have a good day!

THE MONSOON HAS RETURNED TO THE NATIONS. THE YARD REMAINS UN MOWED. THE CHEROKEES ARE DISGUSTED. I'M BEGINNING TO THINK THE DROUTH WAS NOT SO BAD AFTER ALL.

DRIVING ACROSS NORTH DALLAS SATURDAY I WAS WISHING I HAD DRIVEN A 'VET DOWN THERE. ALL THE COPS WERE IN SOUTH DALLAS WATCHING THE CRAZY; I COULD HAVE RUN RIOT ON THE TOLL ROAD. HARD TO RUN RIOT IN A PATHFINDER WITH A V6 :-(

We have the same mostly rain in the forecast until Friday as Matt. I'm hopping it stops by then so I can mow my lawn. I would like to see some sun and cooler temps in the 70's with some reasonable humidity of around 30% NOT this 50 - 90% stuff happening now.

Just Hope you only need regular glasses Matt. Having bifocals isn't to bad though.

Ivelis actually wants this:

Scary. Who wants to drive a car like that at half throttle everywhere? Do they sell a 305 version?

Hey guys.....late getting here today. Busy day, working in my shop most of it spraying finish and assembling cabinets. I do have some decent help by way of my #2 GS, he's learning by fire. I love it that he wants to help me in the shop. Breaking him in to using some of the tools...nail guns, staple guns, miter saw, drills and such. He at least pays attention when I talk to him about things. Picked up another job today, small one and needs it in a month, but still another job.

Friday last week must have been pay-day. While working at the rectory, I had a guy show up saying he stopped by the house and gave Rosie a check for the work I'd done. Another guy stopped by and gave me a check for work I'd done for him, then a third person dropped by to give me money for a cabinet that I built. Rosie deposited $2100. One of those jobs I donated all the money to the church window restoration fund. We laid out $43k to have the stained glass windows redone.

Got to get around early again in the morning as I'm meeting the painter at the rectory to discuss what he's going to be doing.
