Good Morning CGs!

Hope everyone can compensate for DST today (you didn't forget, did you?). I personally think we should get rid of DST, it's a complete waste of resources and just makes people tired and crabby (moreso than usual).

Family went out to dinner last night to celebrate MIL's bday. It was a nice time. We went to the seafood restaurant attached to Bass Pro, which is actually quite a good restaurant if you've never been. Everyone enjoyed their meals and no one left hungry.

Rain is coming down now, and is in the forecast for the next three days or so. But it's not snow, so I'm ok with that.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

We caught what Gris had.....foggy rainy and such, temps in the 50's.....this will slow things down and let us catch up......

Not much else to report.....I will be working on the liquid transport today...the pump is only pumping about 50 gals a minute.....and it should be around 220 gals at least....so either a valve that is open is not opening and restricting flow or the pump is bad.....I have a new pump but the flow restriction thing is bugging me so will check that out first.....to do that I will have to tear the whole thing apart anyway.....should be fun......not.....back to Phoenix on Monday for the truck......

UWoman gets back from Seattle today......memo to self......get everything cleaned up before she gets here.........

Have a super Sunday Guru's....

ONLY TOO TRUE---

FUNNY YOU SHOULD BRING UP "OF MICE AND MEN", THAT WAS ONE OF THE TRIUMPHS OF MY HIGHSCHOOL THESPIAN PERIOD. IT WAS ONE OF THE CLASSES I TOOK BECAUSE THERE WERE LOTS OF GOOD LOOKING GIRLS. TYPING WAS ANOTHER. I BARELY PASSED AND AM STILL A TWO-FINGER TYPIST, BUT IT WAS A SUCCESSFUL ENDEAVOR NON THE LESS :-)

Morning guys....gray and cool here too. Supposed to be in the low 70's today. Looks like I'm going to detail #1 car today. SIL is going to help......more than likely I'm going to let him take the lead on this one.

I need to get back into the shop and mount drawer slides so I can get those over and finish up that job.

Greetings! Kinda gloomy here, with some off-and-on rain. So the Vette will stay in the garage. It could melt, after all.

To make up for DST, I'm gonna try to take a 1-hour nap every day. I'm sure I won't be successful, but it's the thought that counts.

Have a good day, all!

Under two weeks til vacation. Man, time flies. (especially when you keep busy). Doing some chores I have neglected since the shed has been eating up most of my time. Replaced the ignition switch on the rider, changed the home water filter and flushed the system with diluted bleach, and a bunch of other stuff. Bored? Not me. Time change? Makes no difference to me except now the days will be lighter longer. I don't start doing much till after 08:00 AM most days. One day is just like the next. Always something needs to be done. I often have to ask what day it is because everyday is like a Saturday. No Sunday's. (day of rest). That why I love cruising. Nothing for me to do but eat, sleep, gamble, sight see and be entertained for as long as we're onboard.

WELL, THERE ARE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND SECONDARY OBJECTIVES. ONE MUST NOT ALLOW THE LATTER TO PREJUDICE ATTAINMENT OF THE FORMER.

A Texas DPS Trooper pulled an 87 yr old woman over for speeding. As he looked at her drivers license he was surprised to notice that attached to it was a concealed weapon permit. Taken aback, he couldn't help but ask if she had a gun in her possession. She replied in her sweet voice that she indeed did have a 45 automatic in her glove compartment. The trooper then asked if she had any other weapons to which she replied that she also had a 9mm Glock in her center console. The shocked trooper asked if that was all & the little old lady held up her purse & replied, "Well, I do keep a 38 special in my purse." Finally the astonished trooper asked, "What are you afraid of? The dear lil old lady smiled & replied, "Not a damn thing."

That's funny.....I think its the DST that has me wanting to sleep a lot today....just got done with a great nap and really did not want to get up....I like the long summer days though.......but they are messing with nature....except in Arizona where they don't believe in longer hotter days and leave the time alone......

Found out we are getting a nice refund this year.....gotta love those big trucks and the depreciation write offs they provide.......niiice......that will help pay for our new fence....all 650 ft of it.....

Been working on the liquid trailer.....was going to change pumps but got side tracked on an air leak and figured that was enough for this week.....

Just a nice afternoon here in SW KS. Got #1's Buick all detailed, stuff put up and sitting on the front porch playing with the laptop. The new router I put on a couple weeks back has way more power and reach. Started off gray and cool, but the cloudiness burned off and the temps rose to springlike levels (mid 70's). Flowering pears are in bloom and the other trees are starting to bud out.....I think spring is here.

It has been a rather gloomy, overcast, rainy day here. Tomorrow morning I leave it all behind as it is time to head for Sebring. Right now I am about 95% packed. Still have to pack the laptop and pick out some CDs to listen to.

Took the little red car out for a good shakedown run yesterday. Went to PA and back. Hit 2 mall racecar shows and an old racing movie party on the way. I like the feel of the new Cooper tires.

Yup, Some of those are from a little earlier time frame. And yes I have actually seen a magazine article about that set, I believe. It's a pretty neat set. Seems like they have valued it at like $100K. If this is the one I am thinking of.
