Morning guys....Up early and out and now back. Got up early to go down to where Am Track goes through town. Our 5th grade class takes a trip on AmTrack out to Colorado each year. GS#3 was on the trip today. Parents/Grandparents/friends always go down to wave at them when they go through town. Sat there for about 20 minutes before they came through. Then 3 seconds later it was here and gone. I hope the kids saw us!

Going to finish setting a couple cabinets this morning, then load up for the trip to KC. Woodworking show tomorrow afternoon, and a few repair jobs foe Daughter #3, so she can get her house ready to put on the market.

Happy anniversary! Yea, trains used to be very common out here, with trains going by almost every hour. Now we have AmTrack that goes through twice a day (early morning going west, and late evening going east) and a coal train late at night going east and then back west.

Congrats John on 21 years of marriage bliss......enjoy your galavant also....hope the weather is good....you don't want it to rain on your car you know......might melt.....

Tom are you going to get to go to a Royals game while you are in KC?

No rain and its dry here so farming is moving right along and we are trying to keep up....somebody send some rain....

Pretty and sunny here today, wish I was off work considering I have no work to work on...
Finally unearthed the GS Monday night and drove it to work today. The BFs truck I was driving sold yesterday as well - good timing there. He got what he wanted out of it. Now the search is on for me one. We are however, having a difference of opinion on budget. I want what I can pay outright or close for, he wants something nicer with a small payment. He forgets the fact I make about half what he does.

Today I am performing some groundskeepeing chores. Sort of a Spring yard cleanup. Letty, get what you can afford on your own. You never know what the future holds. Trains, I used to go to the local station when I was a kid to see if the train was running ontime. Like it made a difference. Planes, trains and automobiles. Always liked em.
