Good Morning CGs!

Should be beautiful here today, sunny and 76*. Certainly the kind of weather that makes you want to enjoy the weekend, not go to work. Oh well.

I had some Sears surprise points expiring so I stopped by the store yesterday. Got a new pair of Knipex alligator pliers for $10.26 out the door. Not bad for a $25 pair of pliers. We'll see if they live up to the hype.

Tommy - hope you can get your files back.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

HOME AGAIN, HOME AGAIN, JIGGADY JOG. CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING.

TRIP WAS GREAT. POSH ACCOMMODATIONS, DARLING WIFE WAS EXTENSIVELY SPA'D, WITH VARIOUS FEMALE PAMPERINGS WHILE I SHOT SPORTING CLAYS, FIVE-STAND, WOBBLE TRAP, ACTION PISTOL, AND A PIG. THE HAUT CUISINE WAS DELICIOUS FOR A CHANGE, BUT NOT WHAT I'D WANT FOR A STEADY DIET. THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE CHICKEN FRIED STEAK :-) ROUGH CREEK RESORT, GLEN ROSE TEXAS. FIRST CLASS OPERATION, HIGH DOLLAR, THE KIDS REALLY OUT DID THEMSELVES ON THIS.

CAN'T PUT IT OFF ANY LONGER, GOTTA MOW THE OBSTACLE COURSE TODAY :-/

8 of them today but I only see them about 2 times a year.

The wild mustangs tend to screw up the neighbors landscaping more than the deer.

Doesn't apply to me since I believe in "non-existent" landscaping.

It's the rare mountain lion or bear that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Greetings! Nice and sunny here, and devoid of deer. I have had to chase off some geese this week, though. Today is garden clean-up day, and we need to fire up the sprinklers, too. It's dry as a bone out there.

So I had this weird problem with a computer last night. I get home from work, and the fans are going like crazy, nothing is displaying on the monitor, and it won't respond to the mouse or keyboard. I powered it off using the front power button. I let it sit for a few minutes and power it on again, same thing. So I powered down again. We ran some errands, and when I got back, I tried again - same thing. This time it wouldn't power down from the button on the front of the case - I had to reach around and turn off the main switch on the power supply. Later, I was going to try booting from a Windows DVD, so I flipped the switch on the back again and powered it up - it started right up with no problems. All I can figure is that something was wonky in the power supply, and turning it on and off reset it. Wacky, but I was happy for a cheap and easy solution.

Have a good day, all!

Hope to resume MY Stuff starting Monday. Which means back to Spring cleaning the back yard, resume shed construction, clean cars and boat and run all of them that run(just the 83 911 is a no start right now), and the multitude of projects I have on the back burner.

I did my stint at the fair booth this morning for several hours. I'm home now. A golf cart repairman is supposed to stop by later to check on one of the carts. I'm thinking the best thing for me to do at this point is take a nap, at least till he calls.

Sorry to hear of you computer joining the rebellion, Brad.

BillH, you didn't mention the coyotes or kitty cats.

GRIS, glad you had an enjoyable rekindling of the flame.

Marcus, sorry to hear of the epidemic.

The garden is cleaned and Preen'd. The sprinklers are sprinkling. The patio furniture is out and free of its winter covers. The snowblower has been stored, swapping places with my push mower. And my ass is draggin'.

The cats are usually hanging out of the coyote's mouth.

Long day here. Rained all night and all day.... Yes that's me, smiling. Went to the 'city' for the weekly shopping, then home just in time to watch my Royals get beat. This evening I've been catching up on the TV shows I recorded while we were in KC last week.

Brad, I've found that completely unplugging the PS (sometimes referred to a PoS ) will reset things. No deer in our yard recently.
