Good Morning CGs!
I never seem to notice how quickly the time has gone until the date gets to the 20th. Then I think about what else needs to be done before the end of the month. Still have to finish the grout on the tile so I can put that project to rest. I will have follow up caulking, but that's a 10 minute job. No worries there. Went to the doctor yesterday. He basically just went over the scan with me and what to expect with my surgery. No real surprises or gotchas. I'd like to do it sooner rather than later, but that's the way it goes. Getting geared up for our trip at the end of the month. Should be fun. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |

Greetings! The day started out with serious disappointment. I woke up to answer nature's call, went back to bed, and seconds later, just as I was about to drift back to la-la land, the alarm clock rang. Meanwhile, the heat is gonna be here today, with some rain later.

Speaking of heat....they said could get to 106 today and 111 tomorrow......comeonnow....this isn't Phoenix.....
Well I finally did it.....got a hearing aid.....geez how the mighty have fallen....I have refused in the past because I have felt its a scam with what those cost but then I ended up with one of my Mom's from the move that got in the stuff we brought back and gave it a try and I was amazed how much better I could hear.......and it only cost about 350 bucks.......so I got one of my own and will soon order the other side...... MDHearingAid.com for those who know they could use some help.....  Gotta go beat the heat....stay cool Guru's |

She suffered so much pain in that surgery that she refused to do her right ear. So she hears me half the time. LOL. I'm always telling her I can't hear her since I can't hear her voice over other background noises or when I'm in another room. My comprehension improved considerably when I bought some new sets of glasses. Do ya see what I'm sayin?  |

Hey guys, woke up late because the alarm volume had been turned down. Had to rush around so Rosie could get to work and me to my Chiropractor appointment. After that I went to Rosie's office and she had some computer work for me. While there, a guy walked up to the service desk and the secretary asked if she could help him, he says actually I need to see him (pointing at me). I look up to see a friend, he says I came up here to ask Rosie what his cell phone number was, and find me there. He's got some things he wanted help with.
So I go home and start working on some things in the shop until he gets there. I spend about two and a half hours showing him how to build cabinet doors. Then I continue on with my projects until it's time for supper. My back is doing a little better, but still have another appointment Friday. Ehhh? Did you guys say something? Not looking forward to the day I need them. |
