Heck, even I slept in some. It's 70 already headed for low 90's. Rosie and I went out to the shop last evening and stained the bedroom furniture I built....that doesn't sound right, does it? It should be ready to spray finish on it today, if it doesn't get too hot too fast.

Lunch with the old folks today, and then new tires on the pickup. I thought we would take the pickup to Colorado Friday, but the weather people say no chance for snow up on the top of the world, and supposed to be in the upper 60's to low 70's while we are there, so I think we'll take the Corvette.

I trust everyone will have a great day.

I got up at 08:00. A very reasonable time to rise. Today I plan on doing a few things around here, just don't know what they are yet. Rainy weather is forecast for the month as the weatherman stated, traditionally September is Florida's wettest month of the year. A couple of more months till I can enjoy the glory of the Florida winter. I'm pretty well packed and got Sue moving in that direction. Have my boarding passes, luggage tags and health screening papers all filled out. Can't get my aircraft boarding passes till within 24 hours of the flight. I'm well ahead of schedule and just the way I like it. Sue has two jobs that have to be done over the next several days. Outside of that we're set for clear sailing.

Hidey-ho! Another gloomy day here, but at least there wasn't a monsoon this morning. I think this crap will blow out of here tomorrow.

Meanwhile, here's an idea for Tommy's next vacation:

Movies

A man in a movie theater notices what looks like a goat sitting next to him. "Are you a goat?" asked the man, surprised. "Yes." "What are you doing at the movies?" The goat replied, "Well, I liked the book."

Religious Cowboy

The devout cowboy lost his favorite Bible while he was mending fences out on the range. Three weeks later, a goat walked up to him carrying the Bible in its mouth. The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes. He took the precious book out of the goat's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!" "Not really," said the goat. "Your name is written inside the cover."

She's funny......not to bright but funny.........

Well its misty and rainy here right now......I managed to get a 1/3 of the mowing done last night. It was so hot out yesterday that I found it was better to stay inside working on the billing and then take a drive in the GS.....then the mower we use for shredding got a flat tire and I thought that was a sign from Heaven that I should just quit mowing and rest inside.....makes sense to me....

....and now the weather is bad so better rest up some more........and change the clutch fluid in the Corvette.....I do that every month or so.....

Hope you have a lazy day also Guru's.......good call on taking 007 to the mountains Tee.......don't forget to keep your clutch fluid fresh.......

...say Gris......as our resident Gun Smith.....what do you think about shooting this M1934 .380 Beretta? It would make a nice CC weapon.....just the right size......I would get a new magazine or two for it. Have I asked this question before? It sounds familiar to me...........Don't know if guns of this age.......geez the pistol is 82 years old.......nevermind.........I will keep looking .......It was my Dad's holdout pistol in WW II........

THE BERETTA SHOULD SHOOT JUST FINE. PROBABLY MORE RELIABLE THAN THAT LUGER. MAGS SHOULDN'T BE TOO HARD TO FIND.

WITH IT'S HISTORY, SOMETHING YOU SURE DON'T WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE ON LOOSING.

I seem to get at least one thing everyday that pisses me off. Today's gem is an incorrect anesthesiology bill. They didn't deduct the insurance payment. Then they had two anesthesiologists billing separately. Why they needed two only the insurance gods know. Even after the insurance payment they still want more than what it cost to buy a derelict C4. Un-Vulcan-believable. Even with insurance who can afford treatment nowadays. I now return the pedestal to the next needy platform holder.

Would like to - but until I can clean out cousins' house and get all that sold (nursing home one) I'm stuck here.
Original plan was to have him go on to FLA, and he would be using the 2nd master suite at my friend's house there in Milton. While he was there I would sell his but stay there until it's done, then I would load up and head on to FLA and we'd get us something. Can't get cousin's house cleaned out till later this fall when it's cooler - no power to house and not turning it on. then who knows how long it will be on the market before it sells. Crappy area and it's a dump four-plex thing.
