Howdy! We had our one sunny day yesterday, now it's back to gloom. Hopefully that will blow out of here for the weekend. Gonna be cooler too, may not make it out of the 60's tomorrow. The 6 months of no yard work will be here before I know it.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Looks like great weather all weekend. It's amazing how companies like Amazon and summit can get parts to your door. All the parts needed to do the complete job will be here by Sunday. First part arrives today and the parts I ordered last night Sunday. The price is lower than I can buy locally. Best of all no shipping charge

Summit's pretty good.

Unfortunately for me, they don't carry C2 parts.

The restoration parts vendors charge $23 shipping even if you only need 2 rubber grommets. Though most do ship the same day you order. Still have to wait a week for UPS.

Hey guys...we got up and around pretty early and headed west. The fog, when we left, was so thick, visibility. was only about 1/8 mile. Stayed that way for the first thirty miles. Once past that point it cleared up.

Our first stop was La Junta, Co. (about two hours out) as once we left there the next possible stop (with a restroom) is 75 miles away. There were a couple of times I ran the Corvette up into the triple digits. Didn't stop in that town though and continued on for another hour to a small college town to fill with gas and grab a bite to eat. Mid 70s to low 80s is where the temps have hovered, mid 60s at the top of Wolf Creek Pass (10,800' elevation) Beetle kill in the pines at the pass was amazing, probably 95% of the trees up there.

We arrived and the unit was ready, so check in was quick. Well, we have to go buy some food for the week.

Sue wanted me to cover the nursery while she made a delivery and did a couple of pick ups. I went in at 08:15 and left at 04:15 No lunch. Sure glad I don't have to do that everyday. I'll have plenty of time to rest next week. 5 sea days.

Ironic since minors and sex is what made many of them perverts in the first place.

I need to apologize for being MIA the past few days. No real reason, just didn't log on. I have been spending most of my time with the kids and wife and doing domestic duties. I still should pop in to say hello. Warm here but rained most of the morning. Wife is getting ready for the neighborhood garage sale tomorrow. I won't be around for it. Awww shucks.

Still haven't checked the PS leak on the car.

I scored some really nice snap on flank drive plus wrenches on eBay the other day. I'm happy with them, first set of snap on wrenches ever. I'm already contemplating more Of course the only way is to buy it used, and smartly by watching low cost auctions.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the evening.
