Boots on the ground early this morning....got stuff to do.......I will be driving and doing business work today.....in the dawn of a new America....I wonder how many of those protesters actually voted......?

Morning guys....The moon was huge this morning, it's clear and chilly, but going to warm up to low 70s. We are headed west to return those drawers, stain the cabinets and bring the doors back to stain and finish. But we can't get in too big a hurry, as the town we're headed to is on Mountain time.

SUNNY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE CHEROKEES ARE STILL MOON-STRUCK. THAT WAS QUITE IMPRESSIVE LAST NIGHT.
THE BIG SHOW IS OVER FOR ANOTHER SIX MONTHS, GOT A LITTLE ONE IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. MY ONLY ADDITIONAL BUY WAS A PROPER BAYONET FOR MY TYPE 99 ARISAKA. OPEN AGENDA TODAY, OTHER THAT AUTO ROTATION. I SHOULD GET TO WORK AND REJECT THE TOMATO, BUT THE WAY MY SHOULDERS HAVE BEEN HURTING I REALLY DREAD IT. 2014 Memorial Day Car Show Winner!

Been a long day. Rosie and I left here all loaded with the drawers at about 8:30. We got over to the place about 8:00 Yes you read that right! 13 miles west of town the time changes to mountain time. We unloaded the drawers, pulled the doors off the cabinets and stained the face frames and exposed ends of the cabinets which took us about three hours. Grabbed a bite to eat there in town and headed home. Once we got here we unloaded the doors and started staining them. we worked right up to about 5:30, when we flat ran out of gas. I'll finish staining the 7 doors that are left of the 22 we started with. And will start the spraying of finish on the doors we stained today. I'm trying to finish up this job so I can go back over on Thursday and spray the cabinets. Would love to have this job wrapped up by Friday.

Got a nice batch of tools in the mail today from some eBay auctions. Deals to be had all around. At least a little something to brighten my day.
Also stopped at the Honda dealer after work. Car they found me is a little more expensive than I originally wanted, but newer with lower miles and a better deal overall....can't take the $ with you Hope everyone had a great day! |
