Morning guys....cloudy and cool this morning.

Got a truck with materials coming today, this morning actually.

42 degrees and only looking for a high of 46, so apparently not warming up much. Cloud cover held the heat in last night, but won't let it warm today...two edged sword.

Took the lads down to the vet this morning for shots and haircuts and bath's......it was like a rodeo in the pickup on the way down.....that young pup is half crazy sometimes.....took them inside and within 30 seconds the pup had defected on the nice clean floor at the vets office.......uh...sorry....he doesn't do that at home......much.......will this cost me more now....?

Rainy gray and wet here so we are working in the office and I am taking a nap in about..........5 minutes.........have an interesting day Guru's....

ACTUALLY GOT A LOT DONE THIS MORNING WHILE WAITING FOR THE RAIN. PUT A NEW TOP ON THE DOGHOUSE & PUT ABOUT A HALF BALE OF STRAW INSIDE. STARTED ON SOME MORE BARN CLEANUP BUT THE TRASH MAN WAS SO LATE I SWITCHED TO DOG HOUSING. A NAP IS NOW IN ORDER BEFORE I START TO REFILL THE DUMPSTER.

Got down to school to unload the lumber, I had enough that I didn't want to unload by hand, so went to school to use the fork. Between the time I got up and when the truck arrived, so did the cold front... BRRRRRRRRR. Glad I went prepared for cold.

Been cooling off here and of course it would start on the day we need to unload the first load at the new house. Started raining right in the middle of it then got cold. It's all done with now, just a mess to start sorting through. got home just after midnight cleaning at my house. Took one 26-ft load for him and two 26-ft loads for me. I hurt in places I didn't know I had to hurt in.
Rain due here again tomorrow, I guess winter is finally here. Anyone have big holiday plans?

Matt, the car looks very conservative and family friendly. I remember those days. Enjoy it, even after they salt the roads.


Busy day with mostly nursery related work. I don't feel very retired lately. Don't think I will till she sells the business. Business has been brisk. Booking jobs for the new year now. This year is filled up. I know you shouldn't complain about making money but as I've mentioned before, one of my most valuable assets is having time. I've already told Sue I don't want to die working. Might as well have told one of the bronze statues around the yard.

IT'S ALIVE! I got my control box back from the repair place today. Took a little time to hook things up and did a "dry run", the bit was way above the work piece and the motor was off. I ran the same cut as I had all along (my business logo). The machine moved very smoothly and appeared to moving ,ike it was supposed to. So, the next step was to Zero the Z axis and make an actual cut. Same file, it cut so nice and smooth, she's working just fine. I still have some fine tuning to do with it, but it will cut. Going to upload a short video to my FB page pretty soon.

Oh, we did get a little bit of moisture this afternoon, very little, but we'll take any and all we get. And the high temp? Well, that happened at about the time the sun came up this morning. Been cold and windy all day.
