Christ has risen. Fortunately for Him he's in heaven. I'm left behind to till and toil till I get the call to come home. The seventh day, day of rest sure was a great law back in the day. God wasn't married to Sue. If he was she would have had him out tidying up the cosmos. (She doesn't make me work, I just like to blame he for EVERYTHING.) Keeps me from blaming God.

BACK FROM OKMULGEE, ATE WAY TOO MUCH. ALL THE OKIE GRANDKIDS WERE HOME FOR THE HOLIDAY, ONLY ONE MISSING WAS GRANDDAUGHTER-IN-LAW-TO-BE, AT THE SUPPLY AND SERVICE OFFICERS COURSE, QM SCHOOL, FT LEE. SIL'S DAD WAS THERE. HE'S CRAZIER THAN I AM, BOUGHT A 1955 CROWN VIC WITH CONTINENTAL KIT. WANTS TO GET IT RESTORED. MAKES MY THREE C4'S SEEM QUITE RATIONAL :-) |

Well, it was cool and dreary all day long. It was 'misty' when I walked to church, and cool. After coming home we had #2 and boys over for Easter lunch. Turkey and all the trimmings. Then watched a really good pitching match as My Royals beat the Angels in the sweep, in a "walk-off". Then we went for a bike ride...still misty, still chilly, still windy. Not complaining, just wish it would have gone ahead and rained. Not the 'pretty day' most think about for Easter Sunday, but just fine with me.

Busy day. Family, etc. Relaxing for a bit and then hitting the sack. Kids are back to school tomorrow after spring break. Good to get back to a routine. Still had fun while they were off.
