Good Morning Gurus!
Thursday... Got here pretty quick for me this week. Must be all this great weather we're having. I read somewhere yesterday that June 27th is Drive Your Corvette to Work Day. Can anyone confirm? I remember being very close to purchasing a Vette last year at this time, and thinking I would be able to take part. But I did not end up finding the Ruby until July, so I missed it. I'm thinking about painting my calipers red... Not sure if it would look right on a Ruby or not. So, what's new in your world? Spill it!  |

I remember thinking you'd never buy one, sort of like tonymax. You proved me wrong, and seems like you shopped well.
I have to order some parts from summit so I can put them in on Saturday. Only thing going on in my world is bad golf and cold beer.  |

Parents have to renew insurance plan on cars today. Since I am about to turn 20, I think it goes down a little due to no wrecks reported/tickets? Not enough to make a difference regardless...but it's better than nothing I suppose.
I painted my calipers red. Now they are blue but I am going to try black. Maybe yellow? Hmm...White sounds unique. |

I think Tony is still looking. He did explain is reasons in detail in a post I read over there recently. I actually think it's cool that he is sticking to his guns.
Blue calipers on a black car would look neat, IMO. But red is classic. I saw a blue EVO this morning with yellow calipers. Looked alright. White calipers....  |

We have had some nice weather here finally for the past two days. Not so humid any more... at least for now.
I got an email from MidAmerica saying that Drive Your Vette to Work Day is coming up, by I failed to take note since my Vette is still sitting in the garage with no plug wires or hoses installed and no exhaust system. As far as claipers go... I had red ones for years but when I upgraded to the GS Calipers which are black with the Corvette writing I painted the rears back to gloss black like the fronts. I like it a lot better black, since everybody and thier brother has red calipers these days. Cheers |

My bestest buddy from high school lives in Lebanon.
I wish I had the ability to travel a bit more. I miss that guy. Only seen him twice in about the last twelve years.  Hershey PA... I believe you can gain weight just by breathing the air! What a lovely smell! Chocolate in the air, and the street lights are shaped like Hershey Kisses. Pretty cool. |

The paint just globs up once you spray it. Use the brush on stuff instead. That's what I'll use when I do the rear calipers this summer. Anywho, I woke up this morning and felt like someone had beat me with a pool cue. Ugh. That workout yesterday was pretty intense. Today is day number two, and the DVD is plyometrics....it won't be any easier. I actually started using the meal plan book this morning, and had egg whites and potatoes for breakfast.
