I'm about to go directly to the doghouse for good. The wife is turning 50 tomorow and I have no clue what to do or buy her for the momentous occasion. She has been down in the dumps over it for a week!! (women :sad6

I'd love to hear some of your ideas!!

You're in big trouble.

My wife's 50th was within a week of our 25th. So I gave here a big surprise party and bought one of those past/present/future diamond rings.

Jewelry usually works. For the 50th, it's gotta be good. Diamond ear rings, a nice necklace, something. And a great dinner out, and you may survive.

Slap her on the butt and say "That'll do pig....that'll do."

No honestly take her out some where that she has never been before to eat then take her shopping...women like that kind of stuff then have flowers waiting for her when you get home and a bottle of the bubbly.

Better be something big. Took mine to New York for shows and dinners for her 60th. I had to, she took me to Vegas for mine.

Dinner at a nice resturant with a few close friends would be nice. At least a dozed red roses.

Or just cut off your genitals and sleep on the couch, forever.

Good advice. My wife seemed to accept 50 much better than I did - hell, I wasn't anywhere near done with my 40's

Don't go to Vegas with your buddies and leaver her home alone on her 50th. She will make sure you regret it every day for the rest of your life.

If there is one thing I would change in my life that would be it.

Take her to some tropical island for a long weekend.

39 red roses, a box of fine chocolates, a gift card to her favorite store and a romantic dinner. Top it off by munching on the muffin. You'll be fine.

If creativity fails you, that little plastic card won't.

You should surprise her and go motorboating, chicks love that.
