Good morning CGs!

I've been MIA for a day or so. Had the baby's Christening on Sunday. That kept us pretty busy. I think a good time was had by all. After the church we had the banquet hall, which was fun, but long. About 110 people altogether, we were expecting about 140, but some people were sick, etc....blah blah. Didn't get home too late or too drunk! Ha. I'm not hungover this morning which surprised me, but I was so tired yesterday I wasn't in the mood for some heavy drinking which usually accompanies Polish parties.

How was everyone else's weekend? Anything exciting? Everyone back to work today? I've got a few errands to run but that's it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

MONDAY MOVIE TRIVIA:

In the 1980s "classic" Howard the Duck, who was Howard's love interest in the film?

Cheater hint: she was a singer in the movie, she also played in the greatest movie of all time, Back to the Future......

Been going good here, got my sons go kart working...after 2 years. Anyway it was a bent pushrod and here I was messing with the carb
Its a fast little bastage, I almost flipped it by myself. My son is loving this thing but is kinda scared to go too fast. Still he went fast enough around one corner to darn near flick me out of it.

Good Morning Gurus!

Same ol' same ol' here.

Getting the house cleaned up for an appraisal on Friday. We're looking to refinance before I get laid off. Getting cash out to pay off my wife's car.

If all goes well, the mortgage payment stays the same, and we save over $400 a month. I sure hope this works out.

My wife and I went to a rememberance BB-Q for a recent death in an associates family. These folks live about two hours north on the edge of the Everglades and deep into the woods. Needless to say, the event was attended by several Florida Crackers and their families. From the looks of things, not to many dentists in these here parts of the state. I wouldn't say these folks hold predjudice. They hate everybody equally. Even their own. The food was really good and even had something I never ate before. Swamp Cabbage. It's fun to get away ...........

"associate" sounds like you're trying really hard to not imply you were friends!

Some of those Florida crackas are relatives of mine...

KPotter bringing his 80s trivia knowledge to the table! Correct, sir!

Went out to breakfast with the wife and rugrat. Hung over BIL tagged along, too - lol. Came home and we are just feeling lazy today. I have to run to the dry cleaners and I don't feel like doing that. Don't feel like working out, either, but maybe later this afternoon I'll be in the mood. Oh well. Hope everyone is having fun at work!

As you get older I think you'll understand. I have many, many associates and very few friends. Guess you've already figured that out though.

He all... the day is nearly over. I have been busy most of the day. Not a particularly good day. I'm still waiting for my exhaust to be done, and its turning out to be too much month left at the end of the money.
Ocean City is just around the corner and my car has to be done. I have to cancel my dyno-tune appointment for Wednesday because I aint got the bucks right now. I hope I can run a data-master session and send it Bryan to look at before I take the car to OC.

Anyhow - just got home and thought I'd check out the threads before getting into something else around here. No car in the garage... I suppose I could clean the garage or do some honey-dos for the wife.

I'm TOTALLY stealing that!

Hope you don't mind!

If you need some cash, and decide you don't like those wheels, there's probably ten guys on here who would buy them. I'm just sayin'...

You mean these wheels? Ugly damn things I bought. I like them, but they are really taking some getting used to. Kind of like when you first shave off your beard and then every time you look in the mirror you say to yourself; "WTF"

Cheers

Looks like fun. I was half expecting an America's Funniest Home Videos outtake of you getting hit in the fun zone, but no go. Good stuff anyway!

Matthew

PS - is that a tv sitting under your tree?
