My uncle has been wanting me to come over to his house where he has a semi-trailor in his yard storing stuff that he has collected through the years. He is paying $30/week to have it there and he just wants the trailor gone. He has gotten out of doing any machining or automobile stuff. PLus he has inherited 3 grandkids from their daughter whom has decided she don't want them anymore and can't take care of them.

So anyway, he told me to come over he wanted to give me a few things. Here is a partial list:

Plasma Cutter
Welder with cart and accessories
220 Air Compressor
Portable compressor
Bench grinder
Cut-off saw
4-ton Hydraulic Ram/body kit
5 foot and 3 foot bolt bins including bolts!
Sandblaster
Welding table
Parts cleaner
and a bunch of other little stuff.

I really can't believe it. I don't even know how to use the plasma cutter or welder, but I guess I will be learning!

The plasma cutter's easier to use than a cutting torch and does a much cleaner job too. If the welder's a wire feed, MIG or TIG, they just take a little technique and practice too. Quite a score, congrats!

As far as the welder, I can't remember what type he told me it was...but it does say "Wire-feed" and it uses a Argon gas supply.

Wire feed gas welder.... good stuff.

Congrats.

All my uncle ever gave me was a taste of his Jack & Coke.

Wow, cool deal. But I think that you don't have enough room to store all of that in your little garage, so you might have to keep the welder and some other miscellaneous items at my house. I won't even charge you a storage fee

Oh, I have plenty of room brother. That's why he wanted me to take it. The only thing is that I can't sell any of it and have to "keep the stuff in the family".

It's all good.
