Good Morning CGs!

Ahhhh....the start of a long weekend and I'm loving it. Of course, I did wake up at 4:30 this morning on my own, but I got to go back to sleep instead of getting up like usual. Nice.

It's cold out still. Sucks. I don't care, though, because my garage is heated. I plan on playing with the car for a few minutes today, at least. Depends on when wifey and baby get up. That's my time clock there.

Disappointing trivia didn't happen last night Not enough people showed up. We should try to reschedule this month's game for next week or two weeks as opposed to waiting until next month. Post your ideas and let Andy know.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew (aka mutate)

HCF!

I'm looking forward to the weekend - a couple of days away from the white-knuckle commuter crowd will do me good.

I can't wait to get my heat bill for this month. I keep my garage at 50 or above, which has been tough the last few days. It's supposed to be in the 30's next week - it'll feel like summer.

Ohhhh....I keep my garage at about 71...but it's under one of the bedrooms so it keeps the upstairs warm, too.

I just have a little electric heater out there, so it struggles to keep up when the temperatures are well below 0. I wish I had in-floor heat for the garage, but that didn't become popular until several years after we built the house.

Have a good day

Got the day off today. Hope to pic some valve covers up for the 62. Aside from that, I am going to swap everything from the truck engine back to the 327, change the pan gasket (leaked after cam change) and get it ready to drop. Hope to drive the 62 to Pomona on Sunday.

Since it's an end of an era...

Going to be the end of a lot of things.
Most of them, we'll miss, I fear.

Great pic.

You aint kidding. I see the media is exploding with "first black pres" stuff. Ok, he is the first one but they are making it seem like because he is black its more important. I fear for the nation. With that said, hopefully I get my pistol next week. I want to get the XD with the natural earth bottom and stainless steel slide. Should be nice if the guy comes through with it. Going to get me some hallow points for home use.

My nephew had the day off school today, teacher's conference, so I took him out to see 'Mall Cop'. It turns out if was filmed locally. It's also a good movie to take a kid to if you want him to stay in school.
