When I bought my Corvette 2 years ago the guy included what he told me where ZR1 rims. 2 are (9 1/2") and 2 are (11"), they are silver with a machined lip. They are in fair shape with just a little curb rash on 2 of them. The clearcoat is just starting to peel on 2 of them and flake on the edges of 2 of them. They still look fairly good as you can see in the pictures. My question is are they really ZR1 rims and if so are they worth anything?.One has a sticker on it that you can see. There are no dings or dents anywhere on them. These pictures are before they were washed..Thanks WW

That's what they are. If you don't want them, they're worth a nice chunk of change.

Yes those are the early ZR-1 rims before they went to the f spoke wheels, these are worth big money, don't sell them on ebay for $400. Take them to one of those big corvette shows, I guarantee that you will get alot for them, there will be a purist there and when he see's you have original rims he will pay top dollar for them to put on his early ZR-1.

Cool, thanks for the reply.Maybe I will take them to Carlisle this year when I go, unless I find somebody to buy them before then.I can't believe the guy that gave them to me said he was going to throw them away if I didn't want them....WW

The 11 in with the deep lugs are ZR1 rims. The number posted on the rim is for a 91-92 9.5" left wheel.

Depending on condition I'd say 800-1000 since they are GM not aftermarket.

I disagree on the value. The front wheels are not nescessarily "ZR1", as they fit non ZR1 cars also.
I normally see them sell for $100 each more or less.
The rear wheels usually sell for $400 a pair. I hope you can sell the for $1,000 for the set, but in this economy, I would be suprised to see them command $600.

Pete is probably correct on value, as I am not in the market to purchase any. With people buying less for their toys I wouldn't be surprised.

The 93s are the really rare ones - only year with the completely machined finish...
