It's gonna be 50 something and sunny this afternoon, so I got up early and uncovered the '71 to drive it to work.

The neighbors couldn't have been too happy when I fired it up around 5:15 this morning, but I did let it warm-up inside the garage, so that muffled the sound some.

Have a great day guys!

Mark

That's down at our home on the Chesapeake, and we keep her Z there.

MY garage looks like this.

Morning Mark.

It's chilly today...though I do have to work, I plan on tinkering on my Vette and Curt's Vette tomorrow some. I think Curt and I are also gonna meet up with TJPreul tomorrow for lunch and a beer.

Great looking car...I've always loved yours.

Nice. My buddy had a 280Z, must have been a 78, or 79. It was a very cool car, but had 2 big issues, the engine could be a little fussy at times, and the body just rusted right off the thing.
Yours is in great shape.

Thanx. It's a 5spd with every option except the Turbo. Only 79k miles on it, and no issues. Put the key in and drive it.

Datsun sold a crap-load of the '83s since there were no Corvettes for sale until late in the year.

Thanx again. I think of you every time I power-up the sound system.

One day closer to Springtime!

All three look like really nice cars.

Its in the 40's here (I think), but the salt is gone, so I'm going to try and get the Impala out today, and the C6 out a little later when my better half gets home from work.

I wish it would rain here to get rid of all the salt

Took my car out the last couple of days, needed to wash it both times I came home.

Excellent! If I had insurance on my Vette, I'd have been tempted to drive it to work today, even though it's only gonna get up to 28.

Mine hasn't moved since before Christmas, due to various projects. Gonna have to move it out of the garage this weekend though, while I do brakes on my wife's DD. :tongue6:

Mark,
Love that vette! If I ever get another, it's going to be just like that...side pipes and all! Beautiful!!

Love the Z too! I've had 3 over the years, and loved every one of'em. My favorite was the '82 with the 5 speed. My least favorite was the '83 Turbo with the automatic. But, it was still a fun car to drive!

Home safe and sound.

I'm always a little hard of hearing for an hour or so when I get done with the '71.

Between the Mid-year sidepipes (the real deal chambered pipes) and the Durango_Boy inspired Kenwood/Polk sound system, my ears don't stand a chance.

It's tough to decide which I like listening to more.
